Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was hospitalized and admitted to an intensive care unit over the weekend, and after initially downplaying the seriousness of the issue, a representative for Flair has made a plea for public support.
Melinda Morris Zanoni, the CEO of Legacy Talent LLC, tweeted out the latest on Flair's situation late Sunday night.
As first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet, Flair was hospitalized on Saturday morning for heart-related issues, with Zanoni initially reporting the situation involved "routine monitoring." PW Insider's Mike Johnson reported that Flair is hospitalized near his home in Atlanta.
Flair, 68, has spent the past five decades of his career in the world of professional wrestling with a reputation as one of the most charismatic personalities in the history of that business. His popularity and personality have transcended into the world of professional sports on many occasions, with players recreating some of his most famous wrestling promos and Flair himself often called to serve as a motivational speaker.

According to Wikipedia:

"Ric Flair is the only Hall of Famer to be inducted twice, first individually in 2008, then as a member of The Four Horsemen in 2012."

And that doesn't include his younger prime, which was in WCW if I recall.

GOAT

GOAT

It does include his early days. The WWE since buying wcw in 2001 or so has really absorbed all the legacy and history of both companies. They recognize wcw and overall wrestling history with their performers.

WWF has a hall of fame ?

Lame.

It's just recognizing the entertainers that have been influential and popular in the business. There's no difference between a wrestling hall of fame and the rock and roll hall of fame or an oscars lifetime achievement award. Nothing lame about it and pretty much every form of entertainment has a hall of fame.

Yardbirds, Cream and as a solo artist

Yardbirds ? Maybe Blind Faith.

And shouldn't George Harrison be in as a Beatle, solo artist and Traveling Wilburys.

Wilburys are better than Yardbirds. Or even Blind Faith.

Plus George was the Wilburys.

I didn't know they had a Hall of Fame for a fake sport.

Huh? I'll repost what I wrote in post#16.

Is cirq du soleil in vegas fake? Those aren't real ninjas and wizards? I cringe whenever I see a grown man call wrestling fake as if it was ever trying to be real. It's like an adult telling another adult that Santa clause isn't real. Oof, like shiver inducing cringes.

Actually, when I was 7 my brother would put me in the figure 4 leg lock like Flair. I was so convinced it was supposed to hurt bad that I would end up crying. WOOOOO!

i always felt like Jeff Lynne was the Wilburys. Just listen to the ELO songs from that era. Rock and Roll is King, Hold On Tight Etc. The Wilburys songs all sounded like ELO. Whether it was Petty Orbison or Harrison singing lead, it all sounded like Jeff Lynne's production. To my ears anyway

I thought that might be the case after I posted it, but thanks for the correction anyway.
