BunnysBastatrds 1,886 Posted April 26, 2016 Never going to happen. It's to hot for one. What free agent would wan t to practice and play in that heat. And, there are no professional sports franchises there for a reason.

Charleston, it's as many minutes away as it is cooler. Also there's a thing called an air conditioned facility.

Mike Honcho 3,940 Posted April 26, 2016 I think the biggest issue would be keeping the lineman away from the cheap buffets.

I've never seen anyone over the age of 5 with that haircut. He does it quite intentionally and its a daily topic that comes up in his life. He refuses to change it because of this, another tactic used by 5yr olds. He also has other strange habits like using an ancient cell phone and driving a POS car. Look up his personal life, its pretty funny, dude is worth 500mil.
RLLD 3,371 Posted April 27, 2016 It boils down to money, and I am rather certain that if it only lasted 5-10 years but increased overall revenues by 15-20%, that would be seen as a victory inside the NFL halls of leadership.
edjr 5,444 Posted April 27, 2016 if the owners say jump, goodell says how high. This is a great idea. The one issue is 100% of their season ticket owners will be stubhub and other ticket brokers.
tanatastic 2,061 Posted April 27, 2016 if the owners say jump, goodell says how high. This is a great idea. The one issue is 100% of their season ticket owners will be stubhub and other ticket brokers. It would be a wild fanbase, thats or sure. Almost entirely tourists and out of towners! But you know it would be a decent draw and at the very least it would shake things up. we already know Davis is not afraid to be eccentric.

edjr 5,444 Posted April 27, 2016 Apparently you haven't been to Vegas lately. Not even the strip clubs have cheap bufffets anymore. anyone that can afford vegas, better have plenty of extra $ to spend. this isn't your vegas of the 90s anymore

Im not sure when, but Vegas made a pretty full switch from sin city/hooker pamphlets littering the ENTIRE sidewalk to full on family friendly destination. CantTouchThis 23 Posted April 27, 2016 Average July high. Arizona 105 - Las Vegas 106 Arizona is a big state with a highly varied climate, sir. Your point is valid, however. HTH.
CantTouchThis 23 Posted April 27, 2016 Not even the strip clubs have cheap bufffets anymore. anyone that can afford vegas, better have plenty of extra $ to spend. this isn't your vegas of the 90s anymore Hell, if you're a halfway decent poker player, you can drink for free and at least break even, while spending $90 a night for a great room at Treasure Island. I spent about a grand in New Orleans over 4 nights splitting a room with 5 people, I can go to Vegas by myself for maybe 7 or $800 over that same time span. It's seriously the cheapest vacation city in the country.
Big Guy 1,400 Posted April 27, 2016 Apparently you haven't been to Vegas lately. yeah......in the 80's & 90's you could eat like a King for chump change, it's hard to eat at a decent Buffet nowadays for under $20.
Big Guy 1,400 Posted April 27, 2016 Arizona is a big state with a highly varied climate, sir. Your point is valid, however. jerryskids 5,069 Posted April 27, 2016 yes it is on both counts.......Phoenix is insane in the summertime, the Cardinals practice in Flagstaff, 30 degrees cooler. Not practice, camp. And they stopped going there a year or two ago because the facilities suck; they just have camp at the stadium nowadays, which has a dome.

titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted April 28, 2016 A Vegas nfl team would be sick. Whenever your team had an away game there, fly out in Friday, get stupid Friday night and Saturday, try to sober up and do a couple lines in the parking lot for the game, and fly home Sunday night. Would be focking epic.

Chronic Husker 85 Posted April 28, 2016 I don't think the NFL would risk the smallest betting scandal by placing a team in Vegas.
