penultimatestraw 473 Posted March 21, 2017 Some nice cattle from HawaiiParker ranch is one of the biggest in the country. And Hawaii has excellent food, though some ethnic cuisines like Mexican and Indian food are lacking.

wiffleball 4,631 Posted March 22, 2017 Speaking of which - Really glad we're apparently 'done' with the short-lived 'slider' fad. great way to charge people $14 for 3.5 oz of meat. - while filling up on King's Hawaiian rolls.
MDC 5,878 Posted March 22, 2017 Veggie burgers are the best. I highly recommend field roast. I probably order veggie burgers more than either hamburger or steak, but they tend to either be awesome or dry and sucky. This place in my neighborhood makes the greatest quinoa burger with smoked coconut that has the crispness and flavor of bacon: http://memphistaproom.com Burgers / steak isn't my thing really. Agree on the dry/sucky dichotomy. Veggie burgers aren't like pizza, where even a sh!tty slice is still pretty good.
