Fournette: is he ever healthy?

Recommended Posts

A lot of rankers had him in the top ten, hurt again today. Can he be trusted, I am skeptical

Thing is hes very soft. What takes a guy one week he takes 3. What one guy would come back to the game from, he will be out.

I had him last year and couldn't stand the frustration. Today it was only a matter of a few runs before he re-aggravated his current injury.

I was picking last and over the summer I was hoping to get Fournette and Dalvin. Fortunately I only got Dalvin.

This was a thing at LSU too. Count me down as being done with him until he puts together multiple heathy and good full games.

Picked him late first round in 2 of my 3 leagues. What a waste, he's killing me. Not only week 1 and 4 where he gets 4 points then sits out the rest of the game but week 2/3 where he is on the bench.

Then Yeldon gets the TD. Should have just started Yeldon lol.

Be glad you have Yeldon! You may get to start him for a month with no Fournette. I just hope the Jags stop it with the weekly parade of acting like they do not know if he is playing or not.

Glad I read where he was limited this past week.

So I benched him and started Gio.

Info is a great thing.

Thanks.

they ran him way too hard in the first quarter....bad coaching. Bet he's out 2-3 more weeks. Major bust....or buy low.

Gio was a no brainer must start regardless.

Fournette is quickly becoming the most recent incarnation of Fred Taylor.

A stud RB when he plays...which isn't very often.

I thought they rushed him back into full service too soon. Hopefully it was a minor tweak

Can't wait for him to come back ultra fresh for my championship run. Get well soon Leo.

Word.

Sit the pansy for as many weeks as necessary to get to full health so we can unleash him down the stretch

Now after coming back too soon he will miss another 2-3 games. It never ends with this guy. That might even be generous since you have to tack on 2 weeks to whatever the report says. So prob misses 3-4.

seems this is the issue; him being rushed back.

Can't wait to get Fournette and Hunt at the 3-4 turn next year.

Hunt is easly a rb1, se he won’t be available.

Thanks.

He's like a fragile version of Fragile Freddy.

Yeah, except that Fred Taylor turned it around and gained over 14,000 yards from scrimmage for his career.

Fournette is NO Fred Taylor. #28 was an amazing combination of speed and power.

I tradedfor him. He has a nice stretch run of games coming up. I think he's a great piece of a title run. Go get him while he's cheap. I play to win the game!!

What did you give up? Just curious on value.

You traded for Fournette?

What did you give up for him.

Not a judgement of your trade, just wondering.

I own him on one of my teams, Ive been trying to deal him away, I personally think his hammy issue will be a problem for him the rest of the season. So Im just wondering his value. I know its different from league to league. Right now no one is even interested.

Thanks.

Aggressively shopping him. Best offer I have is Alshon. Considering it.

I traded Ingram. I pulled the trigger before looking and double checking his injury status. This guy at work was shopping him around. I regretted it slightly but He has a much higher ceiling than Ingram.

I play to win it all. I have DJ, Michel and Freeman still plus bust Drake. My receivers are strong. It's a 10 team league.

I don't care for 10 teamers but guys no showed for the draft, That's what happens playing with young kids.

I am fine with waiting a few weeks. He has a great stretch schedule. He is a true bell cow on the perfect team. I believe with Michel and DJ and have 3 studs I can count on.

I am gonna wait it out. I have him on IR till he is not listed as out. He should be good for the home stretch.
