wiffleball 4,640 Posted April 16, 2018 Man, if I'm Nikki Haley, I quit right now. She makes this big badass very authoritative speech to the UN yesterday talking about how more sanctions are coming on Russia. Fast forward less than 24 hours? Trump decides, oh, Let's not have sanctions for Putin! I mean, even bad parents know that you have to present a unified front. We're supposed to be a fucing superpower and we can't get our shiit together for 24 hours continuously? Haley's got to be fuming. She's one of the few people in Trump's cabinet that isn't failing miserably. But now she's a joke among her colleagues. Do you think anybody's going to take her seriously anymore? I honestly feel bad for her.
MTSkiBum 1,594 Posted April 16, 2018 There were more sanctions against Russia recently. It is becoming to become a pain in my ass. The new santions are related to engineering and engineering software used in the oil industry. I read them a few times, but I need to do more research on exactly how I am effected. MTSkiBum 1,594 Posted April 16, 2018 The UK/US ones as retaliation for the poisoned guy? I do not know, it is in an email from our trade compliance law department. This is why even though I read it twice I am still not sure what it says. Lawyers can make anything complicated to read.

MTSkiBum 1,594 Posted April 16, 2018 That was one of the latest I think. I found the email. I am not going to copy/paste our legal department statement for obvious reasons, but they provided a link to the US government page. The below link is related to the April 6 sanctions. https://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/sanctions/OFAC-Enforcement/Pages/20180406.aspx
