See, this is where you should actually consider who the better *football player* is... and that's Arian Foster. Yes, he may be dinged up now, but Lesean McCoy missed four games in 2012 and scored all of TWO rushing TDs.... Arian Foster had four GAMES with two rushing TDs each. So... yeah. Arian > McCoy until proven otherwise.

The same injured Beanie put up 1k and 10 TDs last season, with the same garbage QBs. Nothing pointless about 10 TDs.

4 team league? Geez. You're not bragging about your own brilliance, but every other owner's stupidity.

Cooley on the Redskins Running Back Situation
TomServo replied to Matt Mueller's topic in FFToday Board
To be fair Droughns had a 1,200 yard rushing year for the Browns as well, he wasn't a complete no-talent. -
Jennings is worthless. If you can get anything for him, take it. Those of us who want to win the whole thing need players who will play in the playoffs. Jennings is not that guy. Of course, if you're planning on stinking up the cellar all year long, he may have some value to you.

Beanie Wells put up 1k yards and 10 TDs in 14 games a year ago. Ryan Williams walked in the door with an injury, same as Beanie. Just get them both cheap (should be easy) and ride whoever is healthy. Beanie basically saved my season in 2011 after Peyton Hillis sucked/injured his way to nothingness. He has value.

Honestly, I hate your team. I'd walk before I started that bunch of garbage. Just my opinion.
-
Tim Hightower was drafted in my league and cut.
-
I got him for a buck in an auction league. That line will put up some rushing TDs, either for Lynch or somebody else. If Lynch is injured/suspended, profit!
-
What a bunch of whiny babies. If you can't take the heat, don't draft a player holding out. If you DID take MJD, you probably have another stud RB as well and you should be set to kill it come playoff time.. and if you don't make the playoff, you suck too bad to blame one player anyhow. The Jags cut their QB twice in a decade without warning and at the start of the season. They're the last team to cry about how contracts should be honored.

Adams is a bust after a career as a college bust and a preseason of bust-like play. He sucks. He sucks. He sucks. Sorry.
-
I think that team is terrible. You overpaid huge for Hernandez, and you're relying on two injury prone RBs and an injury prone QB? Plus, you have Lloyd, who hasn't even established himself with the Pats. If someone in my league ends the day with that team, I feel very good about my chances, and my scoring system is very similar to yours.

Barry Sanders had some awful TD years, and many leagues were "standard" scoring (TD only) back then (barf). Kurt Warner is a MUST. Lots of folks, myself included, rode a hunch on a $1 player/20th rounder to a championship with Kurt starting. Marshall Faulk also - his rushing/receiving was legendary.
-
Erm, no. His stats would look WORSE if the defense didn't drop a couple interceptions. There should have been a sideline Pick-6. But I like Mallet, his arm is a rocket.

Yeah, right. Up by 25 against the Broncos in the 4th quarter, Aaron Rodgers threw his 4th TD of the game to go up 49-17. Stay classy! Same deal with Rodgers' 4th TD pass to go up 38-7 against the Vikings before Matt Flynn came in throwing to build the lead to 45-7. What good sports! Meanwhile, the Pats only have two blowout wins - the Jets game that was 23-16 early in the 4th quarter and the KC game where The Law Firm and Shane Vereen ran the ball 11 straight times (one pass attempt nullified by penalty) to score the final TD. Sportsmanship has nothing to do with the Packers offense. They want to go 19-0, they want to break records, and they want to keep Rodgers healthy. It's a balancing act, but being good sports is no part of the equation.
