J-Money 4 Posted August 7, 2006 I traded S-Jax and Mo Williams for CJ and his 2007 1st round pick (which i hope is pretty high since his best 2 rb's before the trade were Padre and Thomas Jones).how does my starting roster look now that i'm only starting 2 rbs and 4 wr's instead of 3 and 3? C-pepp/Plummer (start 1) Portis, Caddy CJ, Horn, Wilford, Glenn Dez Clark/Putzier (start 1) Wilkins John Abraham, Andre Carter, Darren Howard Cato June, Kirk Morrison, Brian Simmons Michael Lewis/Michael Huff/Donavan Darius/Greg Wesley (start 2) I figure at best the trade will eventually be me giving up s-jax for cj and adrian peterson if i'm lucky. and with my mid-late first round pick next year (hopefully ) i'll be able to get a nice wr prospect to go with cj and wilford in the future

I would pay close attention to the waiver wire for some upgrades at WR, other than that, you have some potential
J-Money 4 Posted August 7, 2006 I would pay close attention to the waiver wire for some upgrades at WR, other than that, you have some potential thanks, i figured i had the depth to try and pull something to upgrade my wrs. and with me getting Ricky Williams back next year and Jerrious Norwood being an intriguing rookie rb i figured i'd try it. umm...there's not much on the waiver wire. it's a 12 team league, we currently are allowed 60 players on our roster and will have to cut down to 53 w/in 48 hours or so of the final preseason game. My whole craptastic wr list is: Booker, Marty MIA WR - 8 FA Brown, Troy NEP WR - 6 FA Carter, Tim NYG WR - 4 FA Glenn, Terry DAL WR - 3 FA Hackett, D.J. SEA WR - 5 FA Henderson, Devery NOS WR - 7 FA Horn, Joe NOS WR - 7 FA Johnson, Bethel NOS WR - 7 FA Lewis, Greg PHI WR - 9 FA Mathis, Jerome HOU WR - 5 FA Smith, Jimmy FA WR - - FA Thorpe, Craphonso KCC WR - 3 FA Washington, Kelley CIN WR - 5 FA Wilford, Ernest JAC WR - 6 FA Williams, Brandon SFO WR ® - 7 6.04 Williams, Mike DET WR - 8 FA Wilson, Cedrick PIT WR - 4 FA

Portis is definitely solid. I would worry a little bit with Caddy. He definitely ran out of gas last year, and was overworked. I like Jackson now that Martz is gone and think he will get a lot more touches. CJ's numbers will depend entirely on Palmer staying healthy. Overall, pretty good trade for both parties. Thanks for responding to my thread. I was looking at Jamal Lewis for Driver as well.
