Like I said up above, the prosecutor has already telegraphed his punches.

 

He's a smart guy. Instead of getting wrapped up in this multi-tiered nonsense, he's keeping it simple. Also, he knows the first rule of a prosecutor. Don't ask a question you don't already know the answer to.

 

He's going after Trump deliberately making up a lie stating that the meeting at the Trump Tower with the Russians was about adoptions. He knew it was a lie, he drafted the lie himself, he propagated the lie, knowing full well it would go back to Federal investigators. That in and of itself is a federal felony.

 

Keep it simple stupid. And he's done exactly that. Sometimes the easiest prosecution's are for the simplest things. The Public can get behind it, the defense can't say anything about it because there's just no tangents to go down. And, oh yeah, multiple Witnesses and Trump himself have already asserted their stories. Including his idiot son Who provided actual documentation refuting the LIE.

 

The most effective indictments are the ones written on postcards, not manuscripts.
