Tomorrow

A sampling of steaks from a local farm. Filets,

ribeyes and strips.

Creamy potluck potatoes. - my take on an old Betty Crocker cookbook recipe. Boil potatoes add sour cream, butter, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic, rosemary, bacon bits, salt and pepper. Bake til all the cheeses are melted.

Spinach and artichoke dip. Never understood why all the recipes Ive seen call for frozen spinach and garlic powder or salt. Fresh spinach and minced garlic is so much better.

Some sort of asparagus. I havent decided what to do with it yet. Any ideas?

Yeast rolls with local butter. - left out since we got it a few days ago.

Veggie tray with dip.

Mixed greens and cabbage salad with mandarins and almonds. Mandarin vinaigrette dressing.

Antipasto with various meats and cheeses from Eataly.

Wife is in charge of desserts. Shes already made cookies. I think shell make a cake too.

Going to my sister's house for Christmas dinner.

She's a vegan so I'm preparing a baked chicken with sides and peach cobbler for dinner for myself.

About an 11:00 Christmas brunch.

Eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, pancakes, and home fries.

That's when all the kids, and grandkids are around.

But Christmas night, it's just me and the mrs left, so we just wing supper.

Just picked up squash casserole and some potatoes my dad did in the oven from their house and heading to my sisters. I believe they have a prime rib cooked and waiting on us. Tomorrow my dad and I are gonna be peeling 20 pounds of shrimp (they come with no heads so you get more shrimp). Not sure what else we are doing besides that but I bought my parents one of those air fryers you guys were talking about. So I might see if he wants to do a few in that

Sister got this DAM fine beef tenderloin from the butcher shop. That sum b1tch was the best dam beef tenderloin Ive ever had. And thats saying something. Also had squash casserole, dressing, potatoes and onion, corn with bacon in it, cranberry sauce, biscuits, and then a ton of different desserts. Got a good bit of food to go. Already ate half of it tonight. Will have to be over at my parents early tomorrow to help set up and peel shrimp
