so which option would u rather have

Recommended Posts

Which option would u rather have in a keeper league (2 keepers) 12 team PPR league that starts qb, rb, rb, wr, wr, wr. All basic scoring except qb gets 6 pts for tds and 5 point bonus is 350 yards. First pick in the draft.

Option 1.

Keep AJ Green (round 3), and Dez (round 5) then draft lacy or lynch or forte. This way I keep two top 5 wrs and have a top rb.

Option 2.

Keep lacy (ROUND 3), and Dez (round 5) then draft lynch or forte with the first pick. Since rbs are thin this yr. Having two top rb, with a top wr waiting on qb.

Option 3.

Keep lacy (round 3), and dez (round 5) and drafting brees with the first pick. That way I start the draft off with a top 3 qb, top 5 wr and a top rb. Doing this way I look at drafting second rb in second or fourth round.

So coming into this season do u feel more comfortable having 2 stud rbs, or 2 stud wrs or have a top guy at each position.

In a PPR league, I'd keep Dez and Green, draft Forte, and then look for a Qb who should throw a bunch of TDs this year like Romo late.

Very interesting responces. Yes having two stud wrs sound very tempting in a PPR league. I thought wrs were fairly deep this year while the rbs were thin I was expecting everyone to say stick with the rbs. Now this league is qb heavy. 6pts for td, only -1 for int. Forgot to mention that. I'm still back and forth.

Tough call to make. I would want to know who was available before telling you once choice is better than another. Brees would be very hard to pass up. That said, can you get a solid QB in the 2nd? I would have a hard time taking a QB at #1 overall, but in your scoring format, you need a top 6 or 7 guy to compete. I have a QB I'm loading up on this season and he's not Manning, Brady or Brees. If he is available in the 2nd, I'd tell you to wait and draft him, and use your first overall pick on Forte, if he is available. While I love Eddie Lacy, he is nicked up a lot. Having the two stud WR's and Forte in the first would be my pick, without knowing who else is availabe. I'd take a QB in round 2, but only if my guy were not being held by someone else. Again, hard to say without knowing who will be available. I may even consider trading down from the 1.01 if someone has a man crush on that pick. You can likely bend them over in a trade and build one hell of a roster with the haul. Some people love the 1.01. Myself, I trade out of it every time I have it.

I would love to know who everyone is keeping, but we won't know until draft day. So I have to guess who everyone is keeping. Who is the qb ur eyeing, not Manning, brady, or brees
