  1. Someone wrote this in the comment section, first time I saw it. I can't imagine what that logo might look like.
  2. I appreciate it! Luckily those two backstories almost wrote themselves. Aren't they supposed to be God Awful? Someone on Twitter (a graphic designer of course) was calling me out on bad Photoshop jobs and I'm like, dude it's a fantasy football meme! Brussel Wilson is definitely the most ridiculous but it's my favorite backstory. I could definitely see Goodell trying to pull something retarded like that. Thanks for the props!
  3. For those of you looking for a funny team name in 2015, I've created a list of 21 funny team names but also created customized logos as well as unique backstories for each team name. Feel free to use these in your leagues. Funny Fantasy Team Names and Logos If you have ideas for any additional team names let me know and I'll try to add it to the list.

    How good is Kembrell Thompkins?

I drafted Bell in the 4th the week before he got injured. Now I'm sitting with 1st waiver priority and wondering if I should grab Thompkins (my 4th and 5th WRs are Denarius Moore and Brian Hartline) or hang onto the 1st waiver position and hope to grab a hot RB if another goes down.
  5. I was considering the same thing at 11, but Lynch fell to me, so I ended up going Lynch/A.J. Green. Then in the 3rd/4th went Randle Cobb & Le'Veon Bell (pre-injury).

How long to wait for a TE?

I say either draft Graham in the 2nd, or wait until the 9th-12th.
  7. The Steelers backfield is a big, hot mess at this point. As someone who drafted Bell, I'm praying that they at least appoint SOMEONE the #1 back going forward. I'm not sure I'd burn a #1 waiver position on Michael Turner though.

    Beast Mode being ignored?

He's dropping pretty hard, even in standard scoring systems. I'm still not sure why, but people drafting toward the end of round 1 are benefitting.

Does anyone trust Tony Romo as a fantasy starter?

I have to, I just drafted him in the 8th! I think he'll finish where he normally does, right around 8th overall in total fantasy points. I think that's good value.

    Luck or Romo?

I'd give Romo the edge for one more year, but I can see things changing in 2014.
  11. In this situation, I think the only way to gain an advantage is to 'run the numbers' and know which players hit the bonuses in 2012. The studs would be obvious, but if you can identify the 'not so obvious' players who sometimes hit the bonuses they could give you an advantage.

Le'Veon Bell or Montee Ball long term

At this point Ball hasn't even been named the starter in Denver. For all intents and purposes Bell is the starter in Pittsburgh and they have a history of not using a RBBC. I'd go with Bell.
  13. It's hard to tell without actually pulling up the stats, but obviously the onus will be on getting studs because the bonuses are so huge. I don't like these kinds of rules because what about the QB who throws for 299? I think it's much more fair to scale things linearly. But, I think these rules would mean you need to focus on studs (and potential studs) and forego depth. Also if you can trade-up it'd be a good idea.

What are you doing with Foster?

I'm pretty high on Foster with Stewart all gimped-up. I mean someone has to carry the ball in Carolina right? My neck & my back! I tend to agree, he's probably just getting some rest for his brittle bones.

    Points per Game Played

Yup. All of our customizable cheat sheets include both fantasy points per game and each player's 2012 rank using fantasy points per game. It's an oft-forgotten statistic that can be very useful when comparing players in your rankings. Just look for the number next to the 'FPPG' acronym. You can see both the total and the player's rank.
