Anyone starting Jarvis Landry

Recommended Posts

In England and likely on Revis island. Assuming he is a must sit in non PPR is he startable in PPR?

I'm planning on it. Things I read said more than likely revis will be on Mathews most of the time. Revis rarely plays in the slot he may end up there sometime but he doesn't shadow guys especially slot guys.

I know Matthews has had a nice 3 games, but Landry is the top receiver there. Even if he plays in the slot, shouldnt he be covered by Revis? What if Julio moved to the slot and the Falcons were playing the Jets. Would Revis cover him?

Maybe maybe not idk. I always thought revis stayed on the outside like Sherman did well until to year anyway. Ok just stop I need Landry to have a good game ok. Well the one good thing I read was the last time these guys played and revis covered Landry he went 6-99. So still there is hope if revis does cover him.

This

Revis has been primarily stationed at LCB as far as I can tell all season, so not only is he not really a concern for Landry, but he's probably also not going to be all that much of a concern for Matthews. I know I saw Matthews lined up on the left side (the defense's right) on his second touchdown pass and multiple other plays last week, so he moves around the formation like most others do nowadays.

No way can you bench Landry. Actually, I like Matthews here too.

How many times do people have to explain that Revis keeps to his left side and doesn't cover the slot. Jordan Matthews had a mediocre game against the Jets but it had little to do with Revis who didn't guard him much. Landry should have a solid ppr game in the slot.

I agree, Landry is the best play of all Miami wide outs. Jets two great corners will be watching Matthews, and or Jennings/Stills/Parker.

I get the sense in watching 'Regis' Philbin that he's absolutely out of his depth. That dude looks like he's just parroting things he's heard real coaches say, but doesn't have a focking clue how to implement.

He reminds me of my daughter's varsity volleyball coach.

He reminds me of my daughter's Vball coach because of how he coaches. She sucks too.
