    Wildman's Wedensday Session--Who Do I Pick?

Hey. Keep up the great work. I have a quesiton for you. Im in a league where you can protect any three players form your roster each year. I had no RB's worth protecting so i protected Fitz, R. Moss, and Gates. I had the 7th pick in my draft and took the best player available approach. There wasnt any running backs for me to chose from. And i hate the Rb's I have. We start 1 QB, 2 RBS, 3WRS, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 DEF. No PPR. And I had the 7th pick and this is what my roster looks like: *QB Hasselbeck(1) QB Manning (6) *RB Foster (3) RB Dunn (4) *RB D. Rhodes (5) RB D. Williams (10) RB C. Brown (13) RB T. Jones (15) *WR Roy Williams (2) *WR Fitgerald (P) *WR R. Moss (P) WR Mike Clayton (7) WR D. Bennett (8) *TE Gates (P) TE Mercades Lewis (12) *K Reed (11) K J. Wilkins (14) *DEF Giants (9) *-probable starter (x)- round taken in (P)- Protected Now. There is one guy who protected R. Johnson, S. Jackson, and R. Brown and he drafted Ron Dayne. He has only four backs. His starting WR's are Chambers, Evans, and Reggie Brown. Nothing to special. I have obvious depth at QB and WR to were I think we could help each other out. Im not completely sold on Brown and Johnson isnt much of a receiver and the Bengals like to pass. I would prefer Jackson but would be happy with any three. So now my question is, who do you think it would take from my roster to get any of those three? I love my WR's and if possible would like to keep Moss, Fitz, Williams, and Gates. Otherwise, im willing to deal. Here's his roster: QB Simms, Chris QB Vick, Michael RB Brown, Ronnie RB Dayne, Ron RB Jackson, Steven RB Johnson, Rudi WR Brown, Reggie WR Chambers, Chris WR Edwards, Braylon WR Evans, Lee WR Jennings, Greg WR Williamson, Troy TE Clark, Dallas TE Miller, Heath K Kasay, John K Longwell, Ryan DT Atlanta Falcons DT Carolina Panthers In our league the same number of player have to be traded from each team. So i couldnt give him 4 guys for one. It has to be 2 for 2, 3 for 3, etc. I was thinking Manning, and either a Rb and WR or two WR's for one of his three backs and any other two players he wants to throw in. If i trade with him for a back, i dont want 7 RB's thats why i would like to trade one of them. Anyways, i would appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks!!!

    Whats he worth?

I'm hurting for backs. Who from my roster is going to take to get him. The guy who has him protected him, S. Jackson and R. Brown. He has no QB or WR's past Chambers and we start 3 of them. Who is it gonna take to get him? E. Manning Hasselbeck Foster Dunn Rhodes C. Brown D. Williams T. Jones Roy Williams Fitz R. Moss Gates Mercades Lewis Reed Wilkins Giants D Whos it gonna take to get Johnson?

    Critique My Roster Please

I think Keyshawn is in for a HUGE year! Swap him and Horn out. Do NOT pick up Bryant. Why would you? He drops the easy passes and know one since T.O. has done crap on SF and Garcia was a good QB then. I stayed away form all SF players.

    Kevan Barlow

It costs us a dollar to make any moves rather it be a trade or a free agent. So if i cut something it will be probebly a back. i dont need seven

Looking for some help/ Rate it too

That seems to be a little much doesnt it? I was thinking Manning and a RB(Rhodes, Dunn), since that would leave him with three if he traded one. I dont know. Rivers was drafted as well. How about this: e. Manning, Brown and Clayton for Johnson, Vick, and any WR he wants to throw in. What you think? Do i need more, if so what?

    Kevan Barlow

My backs are Dunn, Foster, DeAngelo Williams, Rhodes, Chris Brown, adn Thomas Jones. Is he worth picking up?

    Poll Question

Definetly two. Delhomme will have a great season. LJ and Westbrook are an awesome tandem. Harrison is going to be himself. Gonzo is the better TE. I liek team two

Yes actually there is. One guy protected S. Jackson, R. Johnson, and R. Brown. his QB's are Vick and Simms. His starting WR's are Chambers, Evans, and Reggie Brown. I dont really wanna trade a WR and I dont think Manning/Hasselbeck and a RB are enough to get one of them from him. Who do you guys think it would take to get one of them? His roster: QB Simms, Chris QB Vick, Michael RB Brown, Ronnie RB Dayne, Ron RB Jackson, Steven RB Johnson, Rudi WR Brown, Reggie WR Chambers, Chris WR Edwards, Braylon WR Evans, Lee WR Jennings, Greg WR Williamson, Troy TE Clark, Dallas TE Miller, Heath K Kasay, John K Longwell, Ryan DT Atlanta Falcons DT Carolina Panthers

    What to do with TO

Thats hard to say. I heard somewhere that a reciever under Parcells has never had double-digit touchdowns or 1000 yards receiving. Not sure if that was exactly it. Owens could possibly be the first. Didnt really follow Ronnie so i dont know much about him. But you could use a Rb upgrade.

    PLEASE RATE MY TEAM.

Well, your QB's are going to be huge ? marks going into the season. Owens and Chambers are great picks, but third is questionable. I have Clayton as well hoping he rebounds. Troupe could be solid since TEN defense sucks are the will be forced to air ir out. I like Pope though. And you dont really need 3 TE's. I would release Bennett, Boston, and a TE. 6-10

    picked #2 of 10

First three picks are all going to be solid contributers, putting up good numbers. I expect a drop off from Holt however as Martz is outta there. RB2 is up in the air. Lewis could rebound, but will probably split duty with Mike Anderson. K. Jones new OC is Martx, who loves to throw the ball. Brees in the 8th is a great value pick. So is Burleson. I like him more then Galloway. McMicheal is poised for a break out year. Team is solid up and down. Decent depth. 7-10

We had our draft the other day and I had the 7th pick. It's a keeper league, so a lot of RB's were protected. Protected RB's: mcAllister, K. JOnes, R. Johnson, S. Jackson, J. Jones, R. Brown, D. Davis, C. Williams, Tomlinson, Portis, Benson, Westbrook, Barber, Edge, LJ, L. Jordan, and Alexander. I own none of them guys but had the option of keeping McGahee. I didnt because i feel he's gonna have another bad year and opted to protect Fitz, R. Moss, and gates instead. So, my backs are bad. It's a 10 man league, we start 1 QB, 2 RBS, 3WRS, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 DEF. No PPR. And I had the 7th pick and this is what my roster looked like: *QB Hasselbeck(1) QB Manning (6) *RB Foster (3) RB Dunn (4) *RB D. Rhodes (5) RB D. Williams (10) RB C. Brown (13) RB T. Jones (15) *WR Roy Williams (2) *WR Fitgerald (P) *WR R. Moss (P) WR Mike Clayton (7) WR D. Bennett (8) *TE Gates (P) TE Mercades Lewis (12) *K Reed (11) K J. Wilkins (14) *DEF Giants (9) *-probable starter (x)- round taken in (P)- Protected Needless to say, there really werent any backs at my first pick so i took the Best Player Available approach and took Hasselbeck. Do I need to shore up my RB's or do you think they will pan out? Need some advice. Anything constructive will be greatly appreciated. Leave a link, and if i havent already offered my advice, I gladly will. Thanx

    10 Team IDP League

Well, i dont have mcuh advice as far as DEF goes, because i've never done that kind of FF and have no clue whats good or not. But on the offensive side of the ball, you look strong. Dunn, in my opinion, is VERY underated. He be decent as a bye week filler. Culpepper should be decent this year, You got two stud WR's, a very solid tight end, and a good kicker. Not bad. 7-10 on offense cuz i know zero about DEF
