I considered this as well. It may also cause fast food places in California to go out of business and force people to take different jobs…or move…or fast food just becomes more automated, thereby reducing the number of minimum wage jobs altogether. People are forced to find something else to do. Probably just learn to code.

I’d like to know this, along with how many other closures they’ve had in the US over the last few years.

Does sales tax cover the cost for police, fire and rescue? Does it cover education for their kids? How about roads and public transportation? Healthcare?

Apparently he’s got a different definition of the words pay and plenty.

My first job was at Burger King back in the mid-90’s when I was 14. I don’t recall anyone making fun of me for it, but I wouldn’t have cared. I wanted to make my own money. Minimum wage? Was fine by me.
