Students say they are actually being "triggered" by seeing police walking on campus. These are the same wusses that would be screaming for help if they got in a jam. I dont even know what to think anymore about the direction society is headed. We are truly swirling the drain.

Brooklyn NY is one of the worst places on earth. Inhabited by all the worst groups of people America has to offer. And CUNY Brooklyn isn't even 13th grade. More like kindergarten

I don't want to start a thing, I have an honest question. What is triggered? I hear people use that but I have no idea what that is, and I stay away from the political crap as much as I can.

TIA, I'll answer yours.

Like set off, irked, bothered, upset, sent into a sudden state of unrest or bother.

When I push one of your buttons that pisses you off, you are triggered.

Correct Except it generally uses racial or gender or other overtones to acquire a supposed air of legitimacy.

For example, we cis white males cant really be triggered. Meaning nobody has to give a Fock if we are offended. But for the victim class, officialdom will bend over backwards to soothe them.

I dunno. Admittedly, "triggered" is a new word to my vocabulary that the thought police recently invented since I've been overseas but I'd think it could be used correctly to say that things I despise like the 80s Celtics or George W. Bush both trigger me since the latent hate boils to the surface whenever I think of them.

Yes. But your hate generally is rooted in your inherent cis white male bogotry.

Theirs is rooted in legitimate grievances of centuries of oppression by our kind.

Thats the difference.

(For the slow, obviously these are not my views.)

Why do you hate predominantly white basketball teams?
