Ravens dump Ryan Grant, sign Crabtree

The Baltimore Ravens reached a three-year agreement with Michael Crabtree on Friday.

Terms weren't disclosed, but Crabtree received a three-year, $21 million deal, including $15 million in the first two years and $11 million guaranteed ($7 million signing bonus), a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal could be worth up to $20 million in the first two years.

The Ravens had agreed with former Redskins' receiver Ryan Grant on a four-year contract but Grant failed a physical due to a foot injury. However, Grant has since been cleared by an independent doctor leading to speculation that the Ravens simply preferred Crabtree over Grant once Crabtree became available.

In any case, Crabtree should be the Ravens primary option on the outside after the Ravens released Jeremy Maclin. Mike Wallace led Baltimore in receiving last year and finished as the WR38 in PPR leagues.

I'm gonna take the other side.................'Tree moves up for me...........AND onto my priority target list because I sense from the mixed reaction here now the summer crowd is going to be meh on Balt passing game and Crabtree will return solid value from where he will be going in drafts.

Pinkie finger credibility bet Crabtree outperforms ADP in '18 MR Paws?

I'm not saying to draft Flacco. I'm saying people are correct there was no passing game in '17 but what they will be missing is Crabtree WILL BE THE PASSING GAME now that he is there.

Yeah it sounds like a fun time, let's do that bet.

I do agree that he will be without question the number one target in the passing game.

I just don't like Flacco.

Hey good luck with the bet, lol and thanks for the offer.

Niners would have been very nice.

And someone talked about the Rams, another very good fit.

I agree with you 100 percent. I'm surprised Weepaws is down on this situation.

I just don't think he will be what he's been the past few seasons with Flacco and on a running team.

I still like the player but I'm going to move him down some from a wr2 with D Carr and Raiders to a very high Wr3 with the Flaccos.

Man they focked Grant if the physical being a pretext is true. Bad karma.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if the union raises a stink about.

And Boldin avg 62 rec 881 yards and 4.5 tds he avg 174 points and 11.9 per game.

If you look at last season that would Indeed make him a wr3.

And I would agree.

With the Raiders I saw Crabtree as a wr2, with the Ravens his stock will drop and it should he will be a wr3.

Go Wolfpack.

Agreed. I think he was a low 1, high 2 in Oakland. In Baltimore, his bye week filler.
