Miami Dolphins 0 Posted April 16, 2014 We're a 32 team Salary Cap/Contract League going into our 6th season. We have a 40 player active roster limit, 6 man Practice Squad, plus Injured Reserve (the roster limit is suspended during the off-season until just after the NFL's final cut-down day). Positions played are QB, RB, WR, TE, O-FLEX, DL, LB, DB, D-FLEX and K. We basically mimic the NFL as closely as we can within a 16 week season (12 week regular season, then NFL format playoffs and the Super Bowl on week 16). We use Proboards for league management and Fantrax for scoring and standings. Fantrax does have a charge for premium membership (works out to $2.50 per team) but it's usually paid by a few generous teams and payment is voluntary.The Falcons are available and need some work. They have some decent pieces to work with and a ton of cap space available. With an extensive pool of Free Agents available, this is an excellent time to take over a team in rebuilding mode with the flexibility to make it your own.... and the league loves to trade with new GMs . It's a fair, fun, and active league with very competitive GMs and year round activity. Miami Dolphins 0 Posted May 6, 2014 Cards taken, Falcons still available.The Falcons have the 2.2 and 4.2 this year, and still have all future draft picks still intact. They have over HALF of the cap limit available to use in trades, Free Agency, even Franchising Jay Cutler if that's the direction the GM wants to go.Lots of options... Use the cap $ now or rebuild with trades/RFA plus at least one likely comp pick if not active in UFA. Sean Lee, KJ Wright, Michael Johnson, and a few others are all fine trade candidates if a 2 year rebuild is the plan. Looks like a fun challenge to me. They have some good young players on good contracts, plenty of cap space, and some solid rookie draft picks (1.9, 2.9, 2.14, 3.9, 4.9).
