Where does Mike Williams end up?

Recommended Posts

I'd like to see this guy on a team with a real QB. He may be an idiot, but he can play football. A team with a QB, and a need for a big WR, could turn him into a relevant fantasy player. Definitely not a star, but he could be a legit low-end WR2 on some team.... I'm going to try and buy low and see how this plays out.

Lovie has definitely made his mark already in Tampa!

Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams has had a run of bad headlines associated with his name over the last few months and it appears he’ll be heading home to Buffalo to see if he can put his career back on the right track.

James Walker of ESPN.com reports that the Bills have sent a sixth-round pick to the Buccaneers in exchange for Williams’ services. PFT has confirmed the trade pending Williams’ physical with the Bills

Yeah, the first report I read stated he had been released. His value is nothing now. What the hell are the Bills doing? They didn't need to take on another WR with a high cap hit. Dumb. I wonder if this means Stevie Johnson is going to be released....

Musical chairs. Williams turded his way out of TB. He could have had a fresh start with a new coach, now he has a fresh start with an entirely new team in his hometown. Hopefully Buffalo can get his head on straight.

Based on FF production not game film, Stevie Johnson was a bad fit last year with Buffalo. His numbers were way down but I don't know if he regressed or wasn't used properly. I'd like to see him find a home with a good QB. That's assuming he'll be released. There were rumors to that effect earlier, with MW around there soon may be more than just speculation.

Back to Williams, he never has had a good QB. His problems must have flown under the radar, I hadn't realized just how much of a turd he is until this offseason. He might be the #1 in Buf, since there's no VJAx to be found there. Hopefully Williams and Johnson aren't teammates. Buf is already a weak place anyways and they'll further worsen each other's value. With Williams in town, Johnson is even more expendable than before.

Williams sucks. Just another garbage WR with no head and no heart, and he doesn't even have the talent of, say, a Hakeem Nicks.

Poor move by Buffalo and yet more confirmation that they are the Siberia of the NFL.

Williams goes to Buffalo to be reunited with Doug Marrone, who was his coach when he quit at Cuse?? could be wrong on that.

A lot of people didn't realize Williams off field issues because he cleaned them up his rookie year. Had a good season, played with passion and eventually got paid. Once he got paid..... yea

I still think he is talented and everyone wrote off EJ Manuel without giving him much of a chance. Lets wait and see.

As for Stevie, rumors he and Marrone didn't get along but also his production was down due to various injuries. Only played basically 12 games.
