    Please Analyze This Squad

QBs -- Bulger is solid, Ben is supposed to let it air oput more this year, so that has potential. RBs -- Alexander at 8 is fantastic. I'm not sold on Maroney. I think the Pats will be throwing more this year. But you could do worse at No. 2. Portis is a big red flag to me, so getting Betts was a good pick. WR -- Hope Bruce and Horn never have to start for you. Bruce I think gets supplanted by Bennett at No. 2 for the Rams. Colston, Brown and Henderson are OK, but I have a hard time judging WRs.

    Rate mine, I'll rate yours

We don't have to start a TE, just three WRs. We don't get ppr, but at No. 2 back I love Bush. I think Johnson will break out this year with Schaub and post 10+ TD and 1200 yards. It's not elite WR1, but will be in the upper half.

    Where do I need help!?!

Lynch isn't in a committee, but he has struggled to start. Hopefully he will come around for you. You best bet at RB is to hope for injuries to MCAllister, Thomas Jones and LT Williams my turn into a good flex player later on. I'd say you are overall middle of the pack.

I don't know how Bush fell to me either, but I was glad he did. I know I'm a little weak at WR, but I think Johsnon wiull have a huge year, and Evans will get better (plus I'm a UW grad!). Galloway is steady. He almost had 1000 last year in a crappy offense, and the Bucs will be better this year with Garcia, and I was willing to suffer at WR a little to get a good QB. I've been burned at waiting too late for a QB in the past, so I made the decision to go for an elite one this year. Mojo, I agree about the backups, especially at RB, but if SJ gets hurt I'll have Leonard, who has been good in preseason, and I've got a hunch about Lewis. He's had a good preseason too. They will lean on him early.

    drafting with idiots

I agree with mojo, though I think Jackson will be good, just not early. That trio of WR is sick, but I would package one of them with Foster to get a solid No. 2 and a up and coming WR4. But keep Jackson. He will pay off later in the season. Here's mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=282025
  6. just got done with my draft. 12 team no keepers. All TDs are 6, otherwise standard scoring. I picked second overall. Leave me a link and I'll rate yours. 1. Steven Jackson 2. Reggie Bush 3. Marc Bulger 4. Andre Johnson 5. Lee Evans 6. Joey Galloway 7. Jamal Lewis 8. Jerrico Cotchery 9. Charger DST 10. Matt Schaub 11. Drew Bennett 12. Derrick Mason 13. Josh Brown 14. Brian Leonard (SJ's backup) So my starters are Bulger SJ, Bush Johnson, Evans, Galloway Chargers Brown

LJ Deal near... Now what doI do?

I'm second too and I'm not even sniffing LJ. SJ touched the ball almost 27 times a game last year, and the Rams O will continue to run through him. LJ's line is down and as you said they have little at QB.

    Should I drop Losman for...

I think it's Smith by a mile. They upgraded the WRs, Vernon is healthy and Gore can catch the ball too. I think this is a bustout year for Smith and he will come up big on the first two games (vs AZ, @STL), which means other will jump on him.

    RB help

    1. Henry (Denver RB without the pesky competition) 2. T. Jones (But keep an eye on the injury) 3. James (but the O line is banged up) 4. Lynch (maybe a keeper for next year) I would eye Brandon Jackson as a RB3. I don't think he'll be ready to be a RB2 at the start, but by midseason will be there.
  10. I have the 2nd pick in a snake draft, 12 teams, no keepers. It's a giventhat I will take SJ in the first round, but then I was thinking going QB/RB at the 2/3 turn, but I realiz that could leave me thin atf WR. Figuring that I will be getting about the 15th best WR, who should I be eyeing? The other route is to go SJ, QB (Bulger or Brees), WR (TO, Wayne). That gives me three super studs, but I may be week at RB2 by the time the fourth comes around. Would Lynch be a good RB2?
  11. uwis1

which#2 RB and Which 3 WRs?

Baumann I have the same two backups for SA. I'm going with Gore cuz I expect a bounceback from the Panthers. A pride thing for them. and Taylor only avg about 2.5 ypc against Washington. Gore will give biggger bang for the buck and get in the end zone at least once. AT WR...Williams, Mason and Evans

got 2 hours and I need your help

Let's see, other than a little to-early-on-a-Sunday venom toward Favre, I agree with you on a head level. I also have Alexander, who I expect to blow up this week. But that chance for a bounceback game against a suspect defense is appealing. Plus I need to milk as many points as possible since I have Steve Smith and Rany Moss sitting mon my bench this week (Andre Johnson, Todd Heap a, d Issac Bruce, don't fail me now!) And I would have pittied Rogers with this miserable excuse for an offensive line. I would rather see Favre back there with the gile to make a little out of nothing than Rodgers have his career ended before it started.
  13. In two hours I need to head to church so I need some quick advice. Warner is my drafted QB but he plays seattle. I picked up Favre this week reading that he could have a good week again the Saints. But that O-line really scares me, even against NO. FULL DISCLOSURE: I am a die-hard Packers fan, but I try not to let it cloud my lineup judgement. SO who do you start week 2?
  14. uwis1

    Trade away Alexander?

BUMP. SOOOOOOOOOO Bump. Do not make this trade
  15. uwis1

    wali or travis henry?

I would grab Wali, thought I just picked up Henry. Henry is going to start week 1 accoring to cbs sportsline but they are going to share the load there. And I would dump Matt. He will be there later on once your RB situation works itself out and you know who will play and who won't. Please see my trade issue http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=226570
