my team

Recommended Posts

Had my first draft this past Saturday. 12 teams, very basic scoring, 6pt passing TDs, 2 bonus at 100/300 yd games. I had the 10th pick.

We start QB,2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 flex, 1 TE, 1 def, and 1 kicker.

Here is my team.

QB- Matt Ryan, Eli

RB- Carlos Hyde, Joseph Randle, Devonta Freeman, Rashad Jennings, I. Crowell, James White

WR- Dez, Julio Jones, Mike Evans, Eric Decker, Cody Latimer

TE- Witten, Ebron

D- Patriots, Falcons

K- Matt Prater

I think I did decent

What do you all think?

I assume you went back to back WR/WR in rounds 1 and 2 where you took Dez then Julio. Then I'm scratching my head thinking you drafted another WR in round 3 with Mike Evans???

If you didn't take Evans in the 3rd, I don't see what the heck you might have drafted in that case, because Ryan and Hyde are mid round picks, if you did take them in the 3rd you reached. Even Evans in the 3rd is a huge reach.

Why did you take 3 WR in a row?

Why didn't you target Romo when you already had Dez?

I don't usually say this, but I don't like this team very much, sorry meng. I don't like the QB (I think Ryan is massively overrated, Eli is high risk week to week). I have Hyde as well, but he's not my RB1, you're weak at that position, and you don't have a bona-fide RB1! Witten isn't the same TE he was 3 or 4 years ago.

I don't like the Pats or Falcons D this year either.

Sorry too many ? with this team for me!

I had the #11 pick in my 12 team league this past Sunday and went with 2WR's (D.Thomas/Odell), then my next 4 picks were RB's (Gore, L.Murray, Ivory, D.Martin), then came back around and got (Eli and Romo).

I haven't seen anything out of Hyde to prove he's going to be a productive starter for the 49ers, Randle "could" be great with the Cowboys o-line, Freeman will lose his job to Coleman, Rashad Jennings will be a headache with Veereen and A.Williams, and I wouldn't have even wasted a pick on a Brown's RB.

I think your team will do good as long as your RB's provide atleast 10+ points a week

I think he went way too WR heavy and will get outpointed at every other position. 3 WR and a bunch of mediocre players won't carry a team all the way, IMO.

I did the same like I said above with 2WR's, but picked 4 RB's with my next 4 picks. Looks like he may have went Hyde and Randle with his next 2 picks.

He had to have taken Mike Evans in either R3 or R4. But he already had 2 top WR so that pick is ridiculous. Hyde ADP is R4. Randle ADP is 4 as well.

I guess I just don't understand the Evans pick. He could have got a legit RB1 or better QB with the pick.
