    Keeper question....

I like exactly the way you are leaning. Brees and Thomas should be no-brainers. The only question is Forte and Lacy, but even then Forte is an easy choice for me. Please check mine out if you can. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=434726

Off Season Trade- Keeper/ Auction League

$200/ CAP I am actually leaning toward Allen and I had Crabtree as a close 2nd. This is why I asked though, I have had a hard time figuring it out.
  3. 12 team Auction/ Keeper league, standard scoring. I am keeping Bernard and due to league rules, I cannot keep Ellington with Bernard. I have the opportunity to trade him before keepers are officially announced. Please leave a link and I will help as well.

You have to take the risk

I'm taking Murray, probably even Bernard over Foster. In my 12 team PPR league I am sitting at 12, I am very much considering Murray or Bernard (whoever is left) and Rodgers, regardless if Foster is there or not.

    Mike Matheny

Yeah it was an easy call, I can't even see an argument against it. It's a good rule and Joyce made the right call.

    Auction Draft

VALUE VALUE VALUE! I have been doing Auction drafts in my main league for 7 years and believe me when I say, you really need to get the best value you can with every pick. I try to be a value machine. Normally I will have a handful of guys that I just refuse to draft and a handful of guys I target, with the rest just being pure value. I won't draft a player I am targeting if it means I have to extremely over pay. I try to get a couple of big time players and fill the rest of my roster with great values. Someone also said to nominate players that you don't want... that is a really good strategy, but change it up occassionally. A lot of times you can sneak through a player that would normally be nominated toward the end of the draft kind of early because everyone is expecting the big name. I drafted Greg Jennings his rookie year and nominated him in the middle of the draft. Most of the guys weren't that familiar with them and those that were, really weren't paying much attention to a guy like him.... I got him for a $1 and had him as a keeper for 3 years... Bidding wars are something you want to stay away from, but unfortunately you will need to get into 1 or 2 in order to get guys that you want. Just keep it to a minimum and stay disciplined to the point where you don't get completely out of control. Just remember if owners are overpaying for big names early, that just means they won't have the cap to bid with you on the value guys later.

    Keep Newton Spiller or McCoy?

Spiller for sure, QB is extremely deep this year. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=420098

    Keeper Help Please

I am having a terrible time choosing my keepers. Please review the poll. 12 team auction league $200 cap, standard scoring If you consider option 3, then please take note that Randall Cobb ($4) will be my other keeper... all other keepers contracts have expired. TIA Please leave a link and I will be happy to answer yours.

Joe Flacco looking to cash in

This is pretty much dead on. Flacco is a good QB and deserves to be paid as such. The timing of him playing well above his norm was perfect, which will get him elite money. The contract he signs will be because of this playoff run.

Anyone else think the Lions threw that game?

The Stafford bashing is really a joke. Everyone has such a short memory. He threw for over 5,000 yds and over 40 td's last year in his first full year. He almost threw for 5,000 yds again this year while throwing to practice squad WR's (outside of Calvin). I will say that Stafford played a lot more inconsistent this year, but by no means should they trade him. Schwartz should be fired. I don't hate him as a coach, but 4-12 for that team is just pathetic. If they could close any games, they would have been a 10 win team. That has to fall on the coaching. The coordinators can follow. Shaking up the coaching staff could do wonders for them, they have a lot of young talent.

    Houston Texans at Detroit Lions

Biggest crock I have ever seen, way worse than the tuck rule or the Golden Tate play.

    AL MVP

It's actually pretty hilarious to listen to people make cases that Trout got robbed and etc... They both had great years, but....Are you kidding? Cabrera is easily the MVP. It's almost as if, they made up statistics just to make a case for Trout. I get the base running and elite defense argument, but Cabrera murdered him in almost every offensive statistical category and best of all Cabrera did it down the stretch and in the late innings. Cabrera propelled his team into the playoffs, while Trout was very average down the stretch and the Angels finished 3rd in their division.

***OFFICIAL*** BLACK OPS ll Thread (PS3)

Game is way better than MW3. I loved Black Ops 1, very disappointed in MW3 and so far I love Black Ops 2. durtee = durtee

Really quite shocked... didn't think for a second that Obama would get re-elected, certainly didn't deserve to be.
