You can find out pretty early with the blood test, we found out at 11 weeks.

 

My wife is due with a boy in may, then snip-snip.

Make sure you time that appropriately. Some folks like to have it done the day before the NCAA tourney, or maybe the day before the Masters or some other big event requiring TV watching (i.e. recovery)

Not sure on gender yet. Find out in 6 weeks I believe. We definitely need to find a larger house. Only 2 bedrooms right now. We actually found some solid deals while I was laid off, but unfortunately it's impossible to get a loan without pay stubs.
