I would be willing to bet $100 that you're going to pick ________

Let's see if I'm right.

Wasn't planning on taking him but got sniped on a few players.

Allen Robinson is the guy I almost took. Looking for a rebound for him with the new RB. That offense looked like the one to explode last year and it imploded. I feel it turns back round some.

I would have won $100. That's exactly who I thought the pick would be...

Guess we're too familiar with each other...

Favorite two picks of the draft so far right there. Why settle for mediocre RBs or WRs right there when you can get a top-3 guy at other key positions? If you're going to have the 12-pick, this is the way you do it. Luck + Kelce is a great use of the corner.

Thanks. Exactly my thinking. Can't keep following trends and get next-tier value, when I can grab top tier talent at other positions.

do we have an established time frame on when someone needs to make a pick? Maybe add that to rules next year?

Supposed to be 2 hours I think, then commish picks for u.

I am in Japan and go to bed earlier... so most of my picks are lists, which if you are gone for a while, lists can be helpful...

Ray stopped back in yesterday between 4 and 5 CDT. Hopefully, he will do the same today.

Might be a little early for Landry, but he'll get his opportunities. He's good for 1,000 yards, and may sneak in a few more TDs.

Cannot tell you how uneasy I am about picking two Bills in the first four rounds, but I think Watkins's potential is head and shoulders above all remaining WRs at this point. I almost picked him at 3.08, but hated to pair him with McCoy that soon. Big time talent. Just needs to stay healthy.

Watkins has great potential.

But potential doesn't mean much when you're on the exercise bike rather than the field. If he can stay on the field, he'll put up big numbers.

Keenan Allen is a great pic at this point in the draft of course he f*cked me last year but he is a guy I was definitely hoping with slide to my 4. 12

He should be on a steady build the first 4 to 5 weeks of the season coming off injufy. The Chargers did improve line but moved best blocking back.

Allen and Watkins are in the same boat. Loads of potential, just can't stay healthy. Home run if you draft them and they can stay on the field.

Looks like OneRBJoe picked!!

LOL

I knew I'd get my balls busted for taking a running back early.

The value in lynch was too high compared to others noticed. The running back options were getting slim as well.

Anyone see any reason why Cook won't be the man in Min?

I'd say he has the inside track.

But you can never be sure how a player will transition to the NFL, especially when it comes to stuff like pass protection. And that offensive line is suspect at best.

You know........rarely, every once in a while, you arrive at a point in a draft where you just get paralyzed and can't make a selection? Well, that happened with my 4th round pick. I had 4 receivers all ready to make a decision and wouldn't you know it, all 4 got taken.

The last thing I wanted to do was take a RB, TE or QB. But, none of the WRs were worthy of the 4.07 pick IMO. So, should I take a defense? A kicker?

Hell, I decided to take Hyde as my RB2 thinking he was the BPA. Not pleased, but he was a selection and I couldn't hold you all up any longer. He's not a Shanahan guy and may be gone soon, but he is a starter. Oh well......

I will lay out some thoughts tomorrow on Defense By Committee approach I used to do and will re-start this year again.

I just have a hard time taking players from teams that suck. I need to check myself sometimes, but overall it is a good strategy to live by.

Crabs was the #12 wr last season with 1000 yards and 8 td's. This team is getting better and some vet wr's are just more important than the up and coming guy. This year Cooper will aid crabs and help him hold serve with last year's stats. I project 1100 yards and 9 td's. Stoked to land him as my #2 wideout!

we dont seem to agree on much so far this season :P but i completely agree with crabtree....... and players like him and where he can be drafted are part of the reason I believe the stud RB theory is back. Actually, I think it never left despite recent years trends toward WR heavy drafting.

Its probably going to be an article I write but I will, in short, explain my feelings a little later on in the draft.

also, I definitely am not a huge fan of the #1 pick this season in terms of the decisions it leaves you on the subsequent turns. each draft will be different but picking 1 or even 1-3 is not going to allow you to land a Jordy or Michael Thomas in round 2, as is my plan in some leagues this season. While I'm definitely high on the top 3 RBs, I wouldn't mind at all getting a McCoy or Gordon and pairing with one of the previously mentioned WR's, assuming I draft before mainstream hype on Thomas reaches the late 1st round.
