Titans have already hired a coach.

But good. Glad to see a division rival get screwed.

Yeah. Forgot about that.

Is he worried about all the messicans driving drunk up there?

That would knock out Tampa Bay with all the Blue Hairs and newly arrived Cubans. Apparently they don't have stop signs in lot of areas in Cuba and it's takes them a bit to readjust.

From Bleacher Report

Josh McDaniels' tenure as Indianapolis Colts head coach is over after less than nine hours.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Tuesday that McDaniels had a change of heart and will remain with the New England Patriots.

The Colts announced the Patriots offensive coordinator as their coach earlier Tuesday and said a press conference was scheduled for Wednesday.

Schefter and Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reported the Patriots sweetened McDaniels' contract and that his family also played a factor in him staying in New England. The 41-year-old Ohio native has previously cited his family as a reason for remaining with the Patriots, and the team also reportedly clarified that Belichick would return for the 2018 season, per Reiss.

This was a highly unusual situation, howeverone that in some ways mirrors a decision made by Belichick 18 years ago. Belichick was the New York Jets' head coach for just one day before he spurned the organization for the Patriots.

It's unclear if McDaniels had signed an agreement with the Colts. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported Sunday the offensive coordinator was having second thoughts about accepting the position, though the deal had seemed like a formality for nearly a month.

Thats Kraft putting it to the Colts again. He will forever try and (expletive) that place ever since deflate gate," a source told Schefter.

Florio reported Tuesday night the Colts have three candidate interviews set up within the next two days.

The Patriots lost defensive coordinator Matt Patricia to the Detroit Lions on Monday, so retaining McDaniels was a huge win. It's also fair to wonder if McDaniels now has a wink-wink agreement in place with the organization to replace Belichick when the legendary coach steps awaysimilar to the coach-in-waiting agreement Belichick had with New York.

McDaniels spent 2009 and 2010 as the head coach of the Denver Broncos, posting an 11-17 record.

Not a surprise but, dude is a piece of sh!t.

Spoke with several members of what was supposed to be McDaniels Indy coaching staff. They have not heard from Josh McDaniels regarding the change of heart. Just as blindsided as the rest of us. #Colts

According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, Josh McDaniels' assistants, including DC Matt Eberflus, signed contracts with the Colts and are expected to remain with Indianapolis.

Talk about awkward. So, basically what's happening here, is McDaniels recruited these coaches to Indianapolis to be a part of his Colts staff, and then McDaniels backed out of the job, leaving Eberflus and others in limbo. According to Garafolo, Eberflus and others have already been in the building in Indy, breaking down film and whatever else, while they waited for McDaniels to officially be introduced. Now, the new Colts coach will be stuck with assistants he didn't hire. This whole situation is a complete mess with no real end game in sight.

This is pretty typical McDaniels. He was such a slimeball in his first few weeks and months here in Denver that literally nobody in the organization and certainly not the locker room trusted the little sleazebag.

Dude has zero integrity. Making him the perfect New England Patriot.

Hopefully, everybody in Indiana reads the attached article. It's a summary of just how bad McDaniels was in Denver. Honestly it's painful to read. And I had forgotten that it was quite that bad. Highlights include among other things, firing the entire offense of Staff making his little brother the quarterbacks coach and then going through a slew of quarterbacks. Cutler for Orton Orton for Brady Quinn and then Tim Tebow. And all of that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Oh, and no matter how you feel about Cutler, most people in Denver had a pretty good indication what kind of a sleazebag this guy was when McDaniels told Cutler that he was there guy while at the same time trying to trade for Matt Cassel. A trade that he ended up up. And then, McDaniels tried to lie and say that no no no it was the Patriots they contacted us! That's when everybody knew he was an inveterate liar.

He is the lowest type of human being. And I hope Boston enjoys the hell out of him.

Sounds like the Colts dodged a bullet.

Yup. Guy can't hack it as a head coach and he knows it. Took the easy way out.
