American Chewy 98 Posted September 30, 2014 Yep me too but grabbed Denver when someone dropped on bye hopping I can ride them did the same in my league. giving up on the panthers. Denver has the talent and their schedule will be easier than it has been. I am at least confident their floor is higher than the basically zeros I've been getting last few weeks. Cost me my matchup this week as I only lost by 1.3 on Brees' garbage time points. That and Calvin playing decoy all game with Tate on my bench

I am considering Denver on the same basis. Any thoughts on the Giants as being a hold as a DST for the year? They play in the wild NFCE but it's a Coughlin defense and they have put up 2 extremely good performances in a row.
NEWPOSTERGUY! 266 Posted September 30, 2014 - after a stellar MINUS SIX pt output last night, they are gone. gonna scoop the Pack for this week ... if Bilgewater is OUT, then, yeah, gimme Ponder on the road in the dreaded Thursday nighter ... as the Pack get into blowout mode, the pressure on Minny offense will be huuuuge. hell, I'll even roll the Pack vs a hobbled Teddy. buh bye, Patsie defense
jrec15 9 Posted September 30, 2014 Does anyone remember this many negative outings be defenses last year? Patriots, panthers, saints, falcons (admittedly playing them last week was dumb, but i'm in an ATL league and my opponenet played them for a nice -10) have all put up BIG negatives. Something change or just more blowouts than in the past? Some people in my league think I changed the defense scoring..
HOKIEZ 34 Posted September 30, 2014 Im keeping them thru week 7..not crazy about this weeks matchup but they are at home on sunday night..i believe browner is back this week as well. My plan all along is to drop them week 8... CHI, DEN, BYE, IND, DET GB, SD...brutal
Dashow28 6 Posted September 30, 2014 I'm doing the same with the Panthers. They have been terrible the last 2 weeks. It's funny, I benched them week 2 against the Lions because, well, it's the Lions and their offense. Turns out they had a good week. So I figure, okay let me start them against the Steelers and they get friggin destroyed. So thinking, alright, maybe it's just a bad game, I trot them out against the Ravens only for them to get destroyed again. I guess the only good thing is that there aren't any negatives in my league. 1 point combined between 2 games. I'm done with those fvcktards.
robbykidd 3 Posted September 30, 2014 Looking at the Steelers, Browns or GB this week...leaning Steelers right now.
DaBeerz 88 Posted September 30, 2014 Do I play week to week matchup roulette with my defense? NE posted a solid -2 points last night! I also have the Chicago Defense... There are some defenses on the WW, with their point totals I don't think anyone will take them: Dolphins, Miami Def/ST 108.00 Giants, New York Def/ST 93.00 Cowboys, Dallas Def/ST 78.00 Packers, Green Bay Def/ST 56.00 Raiders, Oakland Def/ST 55.00 Falcons, Atlanta Def/ST 44.00 Browns, Cleveland Def/ST 37.00 Jaguars, Jacksonville Def/ST 29.
snatchit 108 Posted September 30, 2014 I have the Browns, Broncos and Phiily available. Thinking the Browns get the edge this week and then the Broncos long term. What order would you put these guys ?
snatchit 108 Posted September 30, 2014 Why are you carryings 2 DEF DaBeerz ?? Keep the Bears, dump NE and grab a upside RB
DaBeerz 88 Posted September 30, 2014 Why are you carryings 2 DEF DaBeerz ?? Keep the Bears, dump NE and grab a upside RB I would love to, but we're forced to carry a starter and 1 backup for each position on our rosters. I am thinking the same thing, dump NE, but for what defense.

Nice stretch coming off a bye week.

snatchit 108 Posted September 30, 2014 I would say browns... like said above, they have some sweet games coming up. GB for this week if they role out Ponder

NEWPOSTERGUY! 266 Posted September 30, 2014 - Bilgewater not practicing today ... get the Pack up on your rosters. ETA: Browns do have a nice run coming up, as pointed out. prefer GB vs Ponder this week, though
