St. Louis are league with live draft

Anyone in the STL area looking for a $$ keeper league with a live in person draft???? League will be hosted on CBS sportsline.com. Info below. 12 team league with 4 spots remaining. If interested email Greg at gfroth@gmail.com

 

 

Player Pool: AFC and NFC Players.

Positions: QB, RB, WR, TE, K, RB-WR-TE, LB, DL, DB, DL-LB-DB and ST.

Transactions: • Lineup deadline is 5 minutes before gametime for each player.

• Owners may set lineups.

• Transactions will lock five minutes before the first game on Sunday. Players whose teams play before Sunday will locked for the remainer of the scoring period.

• Owners may do add/drops.

• Trades must be approved by the commissioner.

• No trades can be made after the trade deadline of 11:59 PM ET 11/14/07.

Schedule: Playoffs start in Week 14 and last for 2 Weeks.

Fees: League Entry Fee: $80

 

Scoring: Head-to-Head, Points Based System.

Scoring based on total stats each period.

Ties in the standings are resolved in this order: Winning Percentage, Total Points.

 

 

Scoring for Offensive Categories

FG - Field Goals 3 points

Plus 1 point for a FG of 40 to 49 Yds

Plus 2 points for a FG of 50 to 59 Yds

Plus 3 points for a FG of 60+ Yds

Constitution: I. 20 round draft

A. 14 offense

B. 6 defense

C. TE’s are optional to draft

D. Must draft at least 1 kicker and 1 at each position (except TE)

 

II. Legal lineup: Note, a legal lineup will consist of “active” players only. Anyone starting a player on a “bye” will receive zero pints for the week.

A. Lineup deadline is 5 minutes before gam time for each player.

B. 9 player “active roster.

C. Minimum:

1. 1 QB

2. 1 RB

3. 1 WR

4. 1 K

5. 2 IDP

D. Maximum

1. 1 QB

2. 3 RB

3. 4 WR

4. 1 K

5. 2 IDP

6. 1 TE

E. RB, WR and TE are “flex” positions.

1. If you play 4 WR, then you can only have 1 RB and no TE.

2. If you play 3 RB, then you can only have 1 WR & 1 TE, or 2 WR and no TE.

3. If you play 2 RB, then you can play 2 WR and 1 TE or 3 WR and no TE.

 

III. Keeper League: after the intitial season, this will be a “keeper” league. You may keep 2 players from your current team for the next season, with the following stipulations.

A. You may keep a player for 3 seasons, maximum.

B. For each player you keep, you lose a draft pick the next season. Example, if you were to keep 2 players, then the next season, your draft does not begin until the 3rd round. If all team keep 2 players, then it simply becomes an 18 round draft. Any one keeping a single player, loses 1 pick, and will make their first pick before the 18 round draft.

C. If a team does not return, the new owner will be allowed to asses the “inherited” team and decide whether to keep any 2 players from that team or “cut” them and draft 2 players before the normal draft begins.

D. Keepers may be traded for other keepers or for draft picks.

 

IV. League Fees

A. For the inaugural season, the league fees will be $80 per team. A % of that fee goes to CBS Sportsline for their cut.

B. Fees are due to the League commissioner on or before the “live” league draft, which will be the last Sunday in August.

V. Transactions:

A. Add/ drops are handled by waivers process.

B. Waivers process runs Tuesday through Saturday

C. Waiver order resets after each week’s game

D. Dropped players remain on waivers for 1 day.

E. No trades after the deadline of 11:59 PM, 11/18/07 (week 11)

F. Trades allowed during the off-season.

 

VI. Scoring:

A. Offense

1. FL, Fumble Lost= -2 poits

2. Pa2P, Passing 2 point conversion = 2 points

3. PaInt, Passing Interception= -2 points

4. PaTD, Passing TD= 6 points

5. PaYd, Passing Yards= 1 point for every 25 PaYd

6. Re2P, Receiving 2 point conversion = 2 points

7. ReTD, Receiving TD= 6 points

8. ReYd, Receiving Yards= 0.1 points for every 1 ReYd

9. Ru2P, Rushing 2 point conversion= 2 points

10. RuTD, Rushing TD= 6 points

11. RuYd, Rushing Yards= 0.1 points for every 1 RyYd

12. XP, Extra point= 1 point

13. FG, Field goal

a. up to 39 yards= 3 points

b. 40 – 49 yards= 4 points

c. 50 – 59 yards= 5 points
