What are you going to do with them?

 

Are you holding or are you going to try and deal them? Has anyone got any offers for them?

 

Curious what their value is.....guy offered me Golden Tate for both Morris and McFadden. (Already have plenty of backs)

 

Just wondering what some of your plans are for a 6 week rental...that may be a zero week rental as well.

I got them just in-case the zeke thing stands and one of them wins the job. If I start getting offers that assume 70% of last year zeke, I'll probably pretend to hesitate then move off of both immediately afterwards. Aka we still don't really know if zeke is sitting out any games this year. But speculation could blow this this away and offers including real known assets could come our way. We should all be listening.

 

To put names to it, I'd probably take any fringe top 10 rb for them. Cj Anderson let's say. But I really have no idea what people think of the situation right now.

 

I would not take Blow Pow/Forte. I'd think really hard about taking Beast and a small piece.

I dropped Foreman for him--but Foreman is a bit nicked up right now, and Miller is playing great, so I took the risk I could get Foreman back next week if I want to if he doesn't have a huge game. He's taking advantage of Houston's high-flying offense and running hard. Racked up 125+ total yards two weeks ago, and a score, and ran for 4.9 per last week. Putting up points for the guy who has him in my ppr league. Not gonna trade Hunt away for him. But Foreman definitely isn't about to take the job.

I drafted and held McFadden up until Tuesday when I had to drop him due to injuries and bye weeks.

 

I picked up Morris 2 weeks ago and still have him.

 

I have no idea if this was the right decision, but I have a hard time believing a guy who's yet to be active will step into a bell cow role.

For better or worse, I didn't have to make the call. Didn't have either rostered, and the owner who is always most likely to beat me to a roster pickup beat me to it yesterday and grabbed Alf. So I grabbed DMC. Eh, we'll see.

I don't think either will be insanely valuable... I own zeke and alf... at this point without seeing anything I would deal alf for a WR3 or a package deal to upgrade to WR2 or something... I just don't think the value is there

I added both McFadden and ALF on Wednesday after waivers cleared and would love to trade them as a combo while they're both at peak value. I'm just not sure what to ask for in return. Really tricky situation. Could I trade one (or both) and get a Tevin Coleman for example? If I can't trade one or both then I'll just leave them on my team and see how this situation plays itself out but I'd love to strike while the iron is hot and flip them.

You could probably trade them for something significant from your league's Zeke owner. A lot of people drafted Zeke like he was going to start all season--there's a good chance their lineups have a hole they'll have problems filling. Go after one of their WR2s maybe.

No one in my league seems real interested in this situation, including the current Zeke owner who doesn't have much past Zeke. My league as a whole is rather apathetic to trades in general, so it's not too much of a shocker, and maybe not the best barometer.

on the team I own zeke I was able to pick up morris. Don't feel great about it but i needed something. My other RBs are ajayi, jamaal charles, james white, cohen, foreman. I need a lottery ticket to hit or I probably won't make the playoffs.

 

edit: the mcfadden owner tried to trade me mcfadden for devante adams straight up. Too rich for my blood.

There are some players you just can't trade because the value is nearly impossible to get in return, that's especially true of Zeke right now.If Zeke is suspended or you trade him at his lowest value, your season is probably done. If he plays you still have a shot. Only one option gives you a chance. I'd just be looking for a 6 week contingency plan that may keep you afloat.

I think he will get more work over all then Morris.

 

He's simply better in the passing game.

 

But I think rushing att especially goal line att I think will go to Morris.

 

I think right now would be best for The Zeke to accept the situation and to take the 6 game suspension.

With that, you're probably stuck sitting with him. It's probably the most safe call. It would be horrible to trade him for Blow Pow or someone equally shaky only to find out that he's magically not suspended a couple days later.

I think that would typically be over paying in this case except, I already have Morris and McFadden, it's 12 teams and top 6 make playoffs, and most importantly I have Bell and Hunt already and the idea of having Bell, Hunt and & Zeke in the playoffs is incredible in theory.
