Mike Honcho 4,009 Posted October 22, 2017 In January, the Fox News host was said to have agreed to a $32 million settlement with a former network analyst, the largest of his known payouts. Last January, six months after Fox News ousted its chairman amid a sexual harassment scandal, the network’s top-rated host at the time, Bill O’Reilly, struck a $32 million agreement with a longtime network analyst to settle new sexual harassment allegations, according to two people briefed on the matter — an extraordinarily large amount for such cases. Although the deal has not been previously made public, the network’s parent company, 21st Century Fox, acknowledges that it was aware of the woman’s complaints about Mr. O’Reilly. They included allegations of repeated harassment, a nonconsensual sexual relationship and the sending of gay pornography and other sexually explicit material to her, according to the people briefed on the matter. It was at least the sixth agreement — and by far the largest — made by either Mr. O’Reilly or the company to settle harassment allegations against him. Despite that record, 21st Century Fox began contract negotiations with Mr. O’Reilly, and in February granted him a four-year extension that paid $25 million a year. Clearly I'm not a fan of B O'R and even I'm like how is it even possible to sexually harass someone to the tune of 32 million bucks!!!!

DankNuggs 305 Posted October 22, 2017 Amazing job by the lawyer. Had a 9 month window where the allegation was worth 32mil and took advantage. NYT story comes out a couple months later and its almost a moot point. Whats the difference between 5-6 accusations? Worth something but likely a fraction of 32 mil

Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted October 23, 2017 I found him to be a pompous a$$ and stated so before this mess. You settle out of court to avoid a lengthy lawsuit but not for $32 million. He can cry all he wants but you don't make it rain millions if you're innocent.
