Raphael Palmeiro eyeing comeback

Recommended Posts

Hasn't this guy made a big enough ass of himself from The Capitol Hill testimony in 2005?

RP: Let me make something perfectly clear, I have never used steroids, period! (points finger at the senator asking the questions)

MLB: (two months later) RP is suspended for 50 games for violating the substance abuse policy.

LOL...what a joke...totally embarrassing.

Who the hell would even bring him into spring training?

I would rather have Palmeiro in spring training than Tim Tebow...

He shouldn't be on the HOF ballot. The focker got caught cheating after millions watched him bash steroid use in baseball. Raffy Palmerio ruined his legacy forever after that.

So if he does comeback and play in the majors for a year or two and then retires, he is eligible to be re-added to the HoF ballot?

He is a first ballot...

HOF. But I stil don't want Clemens or Bonds in. They took it to another level.

When he was doing the Viagra commercials, I was at the K back when there wasn't much crowd to compete with. He came up to the plate and I yelled "woooooddddyyyyy!!@#." He stepped out of the box and glared down the line a good 15 seconds it felt like

One of the smoothest swings I ever saw - lucky to see it up close for so many years.... But yea, Raffy did make an ass out of himself - I can understand why he's not in.

Too bad. Should have retired a year early. Hypocrite of the century. Makes Bonds look good by comparison. The whole world knows for a fact Raffy is a cheater and a liar. Still no rock solid proof on some of these guys in the HOF voting.

I'd put Raffy and Junior as top 2. Raffy was unlucky enough to be the face of all the liars. It could have been any of them.

he failed to get in after 10 years like others

Wrong.

it's 15 years

Raffy lasted 4 years, the last year he was on the ballot he got 4.4%

MLB HOF = Complete sham

Someone on espn today said he only needs to play in one game. Maybe just be on the roster for one game

I know the numbers don't support it, but I always feared Fred MCGriff more.
