bonkbonk 5 Posted August 24, 2006 12 man PPR 1QB 1-2RB 2-3WR 1TE 1st round all RB then 11-12 went Holt Fitz 2nd round Wr run with 6 total off the board, Gates, Manning and 4 RBs. 3rd round 2 WR to start and im 3 picks away at 3.05. So it seem most of the team are looking for RB in the 3rd, 4th and 5th. How do i exploit this best? 1 - Do i hoard another RB in a PPR league and draft the likes of: DD C. Taylor J. Jones Fast Parker J. Lewis W. Dunn 2 - Get my first WR at the tail end of a huge WR run and draft the likes of : R. Wayne R. Williams H. Ward Plax S. Moss D. Driver 3- There is no 3, it seems, Gates and Manning are gone and its to early for any other QB or TE. The 2 team ahead of me are most likey getting RB's. So any suggestions? i well answer yours. Never too many RBs man, never. please help! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=223935
c_Weezie 3 Posted August 24, 2006 I would go Warrick Dunn. No TJ means more tds for Dunn. He is proven and consistent. I think your Dunn pick may start a RB run so instead of getting screwed by being the tail of a run...you start the run and you do the screwing. Then snag three of WRs in the next 4 rounds. I think Driver should fall to you in the 4th round. *Also look for later round steals ( Derrick Mason, Mushin Muhammad, Lavernues Coles, Antonio Braynt) all these guys are sure #1 WRs on their respective teams, and they can all be had pretty late. TiffDaddy 0 Posted August 24, 2006 Well, I personally like going RB here. Either Dunn or Fast Willie. The Falcons trading Duckett makes Dunn more appealing. That FWP may get more goal-line carries his year makes him quite appealing. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice here. Dunn may have the slight edge receiving wise....though Parker has much less mileage on those legs. Good luck with your pick.
bjlmonster 0 Posted August 24, 2006 Agree with the above, that Dunn or FWP would be a good choice here. Those other guys who took WR, will be looking RB in the 3rd, so one of the WR on your list, most likely will be there in the 4th, but these RB's won't. You then can go WR, WR/QB, WR/QB, WR and be set!
aauhoops33 0 Posted August 24, 2006 i agree, willi parker and warrick dunn will both be huge this year parker b/c he will get more td's b/c of the bus retiring, and dunn b/c of duckett getting traded.
