thevelourfog 0 Posted August 24, 2006 I have been offered a trade of Reggie Wayne and Westbrook for Rudi Johnson and TJ Houz from my team in a PPR league. My WRs are fairly weak, and I do have Ronnie Brown, Foster and Chester as my other backs, but I hate giving up Rudi. Do you think this is a good trade? templeheels 0 Posted August 24, 2006 I wouldn't. Rudi is far superior to a banged-up Westbrook, and Wayne is good but not good enough to pull the trigger here. Be patient and you can get more for Rudi (or another one of your backs) in a few weeks. It's far easier to find a WR than RB and you should keep the top ones unless it's an emergency. Jeremy 0 Posted August 24, 2006 I'd probably go for it. Wayne is an upgrade over Housh. I actually think Wayne could have a very nice year this year and increase his production from last year. He'll certainly catch a lot of passes. Westbrook in a PPR league is probably at least as valuable as Rudi who rarely figures into the passing game. In a non-PPR, I don't do this trade. In a PPR league, I'd be tempted to go for it.
thevelourfog 0 Posted August 24, 2006 That has sort of been my feeling as well. In a non-PPR, I wouldn't think about it, but IF Westbrook stays healthy, he can be a reception machine.
ellisonb11 0 Posted August 24, 2006 i would do it. Westbrook catches many more balls than Rudi, Rudi barely catches any passes out of the backfield. Plus, having 2 players on the same team can be a problem....say they have a bad matchup or there is a bye week, ur team will be in trouble. Go with wayne and westy
