Bonehead Draft Pick Award At Your Draft?

with only 5 kickers gone (it was rd 14 of 16-round draft) I had, in the same round, two different (and unrelated lol) coaches select Garret Hartley and John Carney. OK I admit it I didn't do any K research. So I don't know who actually has the job in NO. Nor do I care?? In conclusion, while I am not sure who it is...one of those guys made the boneheaded pick of the draft. I guess I will find out on opening day when I watch Pierre Thomas get me 3 first half touchdowns

QB woes? Who Should I Start

Hey thank you for the responses - I put this out there because I did lean towards Edwards, but was wondering if overcoaching was happening and I would get responses "Are you kidding me? Have you seen how bad the Chefs are this year?" as I called them going 2-14 even before the Croyle injury. To answer the one comment about depth - I'm in a 14-team league, TD-heavy (no PPR, 20 yds/pt rush and rec) and my lineup outside of QB/TE is solid. I beat the best team in the league week 3 and took out the last undefeated team last week. I am better than all but one team and since I beat them already, just waiting to see them in the Super Bowl QB Edwards, Collins, Bulger (Drafted Kitna, Garrard) RB MB III, R. Bush, D. Williams, Hightower, Kevin Smith. Drafted Sticky Ricky and Ray Rice, K Smith is a WW pickup WR Fitzgerald, B Marshall, V Jackson TE Z. Miller K Crosby DEF Tampa, SF. if only I hadn't cut Garrard wk 3 I would be in real good shape, but now its week-by-week matchups with Tier III QBs. Thanks again everyone for the advice, good luck week 7 to everyone!

Grant/Mushin for Steve Smith (Car)? Yes or No

that is a tough one. Ryan Grant has been an epic bust so far if he went in the mid-20's draft selection and a horrorshow if taken higher. But it has to end sometime soon & Brandon J. isnt going to take his job any time soon with what he has generated so far with his touches. I think the big Q is what is your RB situation, how badly do you need to get a RB. Obviously Smith is ready to break out and Muhammad seems to be playing like he is 30 again.

    Trade for Barber or Jacobs

I think you might be able to get MB III as Dallas is slumping, bad news in all the papers, and he has only had one good week out of the last 3, fantasy wise. But if you do get him, oh boy, what a STEAL

    ?

I dont know about your league, but there are exactly 0 starting QBs on the wire in my league, so if there is enough WW talent out there go for it, but it IS a risk, and you look good at WR already. The only variable I cant weigh is, if cutler goes down, who would you be able to pull off the wire. please help? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=328957

    Westbrook Trade

I gotta agree with grades here. Westbrook is lucky to get 12 games in. And some of those are last minute will he and wont he, do you have time to hang around the TV and CPU at 12:45 hoping you'll get the move in time if he does or doesnt play? you are making a monster upgrade at WR with this trade it is worth the downside at RB, IMHO. please help! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=328957

Move LT or move Thomas Jones?

I dont understand why people aren't hard for TJ. He is durable and the team throws a lot, opening up opportunities for him. This isnt the 2007 Jets so I would say, make sure you are getting the right value for him. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=328957

Trade Marshall for Forte and Bowe?

I dont know about this one. Marshalls value is probably a little lower right now than it should but he is due for some big weeks. You did luck out with Roy going to Dallas so maybe you can take that hit and just rely on him and Wayne, use Bruce as needed. Forte is a nice catch though so it makes the trade pretty close. Personally, I would not do it, but this isnt an obvious "NO WAY" or something like that. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=328957

QB woes? Who Should I Start

SCORING FOR QB 40 yds = 1pt all TDs 6 pts rushing/ 20 yds/pt -1 sack -2 INT -2 fumble lost. So I am 4-1-1, second most FPs in my league, and yet have a complete abomination at QB. Trading is pretty thin in this league and any coach with a good backup or 2nd QB is not approachable for a trade. So the wire has given me: Marc Bulger Trent Edwards Kerry Collins I'll make do...but looking at this week's matchup, man I don't know. Collins at KC but I try to start QBs at home. Edwards at home vs SD? SD shut down the Pats last week and I am still not sure just how bad was that concussion. Ghosts of Stan Humphries appear when I close my eyes. I played Bulger last week and got positive points (1) for the first time this season at QB so while I feel loyalty I dont think this is the week to use him. So , Help?? Leave a link, will rate yours.

    Amen brother

    sacks?

where do I account/how do I account for sacks for the QB or passing category? They are -1 per sack for our league

The Official "I hate Boston sports teams" thread

Hey guys. Definitely a thread I'd like to add to. I have lived in Southeastern MA for all my life. I am a lifelong Yankees fan. I try not to be obnoxious as I know I am in enemy territory. But Red Sox/Boston fans, they make me puke. You listen to the talk radio - unbelievable. They say there are a lot of institutions of higher leaning in Boston. Apparently attending one forbids you from calling into the local sports radio station because I cannot believe the ignorant, bigoted crap I hear every day. these fans suck entirely. When the Pats won the Super Bowl, what did the crowd chant at the rally? Yankees Suck. News flash, you're focusing on the wrong sport. But that is the kind of fans you are dealing with. I am a NYG fan in the NFC and a Pats fan in the AFC. If they play each other I cheer for the home team. I live about 10 miles from Foxboro and consider myself part of Patriot Nation. Also one more caveat - I cant believe how sick the national media has gotten over this belichick thing. Like nobody saw the combo of Brady-to-Moss going to the moon. Of course you cant stop this passing attack! 1) Brady 2) Moss, 3) (when healthy) big Ben at tight end. If you put a backer on Ben and double cover Moss, well, there's Welker. Plus they occasionally run the ball . So that has nothing to do with Belichick being some kind of overcompetitive doosh. It has everything to do with having the right tools (finally) on offense. But with that stated, I cant even stand to listen to family or coworkers talk about the team this year. First of all you cant talk about the Pats you have to talk about how awesome the Red Sox is. Fock 'em. The team is on fire and staring in December we can have the 16-0 watch. But they have been talking about it since the Colts game. I hate that. Not for the Jinx but for the arrogance. Anyone remember the Bears? Looked unstoppable until that Monday Night. Or how about the Colts more recently? The other topic du jour is how everyone has it in for the Pats. Yes I think the national media has gone overboard but for christ's sakes people get over it, everyone has a beef with New England, get over it. We're winning aren't we???? Isn't that the best revenge? But on and on it goes. "I cant believe how unfair they're being" "I cant believe they are challenging our Super Bowls" hey guess what, when you make it to the top, you're going to have to deal with jealousy. Ain't nobody jealous of the Dolphins or Rams. They're jealous of us. TAKE IT AS A COMPLIMENT but of course, its a persecution complex. I don't talk about the Bruins. As long as Jacobs owns the team, the nearest hockey franchises are the Canadiens, Isles and Rangers. There is no NHL team in New England. And yes, while I'm not the biggest fan of Basketball I do cheer for the Celts and this is like emerging from the wilderness. So it does feel good but it is only November so its a long season. AAAARRRGGGHHHH there I feel much better. Oh how I despise the troglodyte Boston sports fans.

    Green stickers on QB helmets?

Unfortunately for you, pimptaddy I did search for "green sticker" however didn't find this answer. I do appreciate the quick answer though and I can't believe I never saw that before...to be fair, I didn't even notice it, it was a guest at the house who pointed it out. I'm not even that observant!

    Green stickers on QB helmets?

Noticed today, many different QBS have this green sticker on the back of their helmets. For example Rex, Phil Rivers, Brett Favre...did anyone notice this and/or is there a reason for it? Its in the same location on each helmet.

Opinions on 4th pick overall, 10 teams, PPR after 5.

wow dude. I am in the same place at the #4 pick but different rule setup. With PPR then Addai has added value but I'm a little biased toward him anyways, I like the situation in Indy. any opinion is appreciated! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=280635
