I'll chime in with all the familiar Bills fans on this board. Sadly, I completely agree. Depressing isn't it? I too was fooled into believing this team would be decent this year. What the hell happened to the pride of this organization? Seems as though it is gone...

I disagree with the comment that the Bills are "well coached." Stopped reading after that as he is clearly out to lunch.

I think LT just misses it in week 9. He gets edged out because he's on a bye in week 10. Both Edge and Alexander get there in week 10, but since Edge plays in the earlier game he gets there first.

As a Bills homer, it pains me to admit this but I think NE destroys the Bills on Sunday on both sides of the ball. Tons of emotion and two weeks to prepare are nice. But, hell, they don't even need that. Our offense is just plain bad. Despite the fact that Holcomb has gotten them moving a bit, he scares no one. He either cannot throw the deep ball or Mularkey refuses to do so. Either way, the opposing defense knows it and game plans accordingly. There were more deep shots taken when Losman was playing. In post-game interviews, the Raider secondary pretty much said they were not worried about Holcomb beating them deep at all. Since this is a thread on the NE defense, I won't even get into how bad I believe Brady is going to shred us this weekend...

If you're going to say this about Alexander after one lackluster game, don't you have to say the same for LT?

He killed me too (and Hasselbeck). Up by 11 with no one left and he has Dunn tonight. Looks like a loss. Damn Bledsoe. I needed that game to go to OT to get some more points.

Started him this week over Rudi. First time I started him given his knack for staying out of the end zone. Worked out well. I was encouraged that they gave him the ball at the goal line. Have to use him again next week due to bye troubles.

I didn't say he sucked, merely that the only reason he is vying for this is because of inflated stats in the Denver system. I also said that there are a dozen RB's in the NFL that could do what he has done in Washington, which again doesn't say he sucks - being in the top 15 or so isn't bad. It just points out that he isn't special by any means, which a record like this might suggest. DrJ - Actually, it wasn't your posts that I had in mind when I commented!

As a Bills fan, not sure how to take this. You want the guy to have an ego. At the same time, you think that man, he really believes that he's the best (and he's not). He is setting the stage for his contract extension negotiations. With Rosenhaus as his agent, don't be surprised if he holds out next year.
