Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted January 11, 2017 Asked directly if his people had contact with Russia...he deflects to China hacking and Hillary rather than answering. Hmm... What a focking train wreck. wiffleball 4,631 Posted January 11, 2017 Wow. That was bizarre. He even ended it with his apprentice TagLine: "You're fired!" That whole thing was just effing weird. And CNN went out of their way NOT to publish the uncorroborated information. I know, I listened last night - and wondered what the hell was so salacious. But Buzzfeed released it later. - And Trump & his Press Secy got confused. Kind of hard to conflate Buzzfeed with CNN, but hey... Welcome to a Post-Fact Society.
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted January 11, 2017 I hope he does increase focus on hacking defense. I would like to see what we currently do about hacking defense and what the new administration considers more or better defense. Is it just spend more on it? Are there better specialists out there that need to be brought in?
Sho Nuff 719 Posted January 11, 2017 Should he try to appease the Dems base of phags/cat smackers, those that use abortion as birth control, drug addicts, felons, illegals, pacifists, unemployed welfare baby mamas, thugs, etc? He should try running the country rather than appeasing idiots.

You guys complain he didn't address some of this earlier then whine like a b!tch when he tells you it's false and to GFY. As far as running the country; he is. He's putting boot to the media's a$$ to put them in their place and heads at the Intelligence agencies are going to focking roll.
wiffleball 4,631 Posted January 11, 2017 Just for context, please remember that the most damaging electronic intelligence leaks ever incurred by the US Govt (including military, diplomatic, congressional and executive) came NOT from what we commonly refer to as 'hacking'. Rather, it came from the troika of Manning, Snowden and Assange. And really involved the physical porting of data from government servers to sources physically outside of the confines of the servers. No agenda there other than education. I can't believe we as a country are so repeatedly and thoroughly electronically compromised by otherwise 2nd and 3rd world nation-states. Sure we can...by running the country and not acting like he has been. Didn't address what? He didn't...he ignored the actual questions. Telling us its false is pretty useless when he (like you all here) offers nothing more than his word and apparently Putins. B. He is? He is putting no boot to anything other than throwing a childish temper tantrum about the media. That you think what he is doing is a good thing shows what a focking hack you are. Maybe not the government, but our information is stored on business servers that are unquestionably hacked constantly. It's impossible to stop. I still would like to see something that talks about if there could be more done about hacking and how much more. I was reading something about the new way we will bank with technology. There was talk of bio recognition that can't be hacked. Yeah right. I refuse to believe hackers can't somehow fool what ever it is they are hacking into thinking it is reading a particular persons voice or finger prints or whatever metric they use. In Trump's childish world, you are either a fan who never questions him, or you are the enemy. It's only natural that he'd hate the press, considering Trump's constant aversion of the truth. As for the intelligence department, their conclusion that Russia hacked us to sway the election may cause someone to think that's why Trump one. The Donald's paper-thin ego just could never handle that, so they automatically become the enemy. He's not running the country. He's trying to tear down anyone who calls him out on his constant lies. He puts the country far behind that. It's all about Donald.

I refuse to believe hackers can't somehow fool what ever it is they are hacking into thinking it is reading a particular persons voice or finger prints or whatever metric they use. My BF is IT Director for a Big Data company. He was talking about how the 'new' thing is not pass'words', but pass'phrases'. And allegedly, it would take XX years for current pass-crackers to break such a structure. He knows a LOT more than I do, but I couldn't help but be incredibly skeptical. Maybe just because I have a memory; I remember when all the big data companies told us that simply adding Caps mixes and numerics would do the same. THAT 'uncrackable' security lasted about as long as a fart in a windstorm. As far as spoofing biometrics go, I think that's misguided. it is MUCH more difficult to replicate individual bio-markers. So, if you're even half-competent, what do you do? You don't replicate the bio-markers, you hit it from the recognition/reader side. That way, every marker looks like a 'hit' / 'winner'. giraldi02 470 Posted January 11, 2017 While my sentiments on Buzzfeed are the same as Trump's...This dude is setting a very dangerous precedent on selectively answering questions from sources only he deems as credible. It's a giant step towards state-run media. It's not even a slippery slope fallacy. He belittled BBC news during this press conference. Sorry, but I'll take BBC over any of the US MSM outlets. Additionally, his rhetoric on leaked info is very dangerous to a clandestine administration. Transparency is the very thing he ran his campaign on when bashing Clinton. The one in 2015 was absolutely a hack. And they'd been in the system since 2012. Pulled massive amounts of data including security clearance investigation reports. You really don't understand facts, do you? CNN specifically did NOT 'run with the story' because, as salacious as the details were/are, they couldn't find anyone to corroborate the charges mentioned in the two page addendum. That's what journalists are supposed to do. Buzzfeed couldn't help themselves in light of the sleaze factor listed in the intelligence briefing's addendum - and they did, in fact, 'run with it'. - Without substantiation or corroboration. I really wish you''d try to educate yourself. I don't mind people who disagree - as long as they make even a minimal effort to learn something on their own.
