Apparently, they still need Coleman to concede. Both have press conferences scheduled today. Knowing Coleman, he'll refuse and continue to fock the Minn people. Bad Representation is better than no representation.

God help us...

That is 60 for the Democrats in the Senate...

Just enough to pass the "climate bill" that will destroy this country...

God help us...

Yep. That's the scariest part. A goofball election that should have been meaningless has the biggest impact on Congressional checks and balances in possibly the entire history of the country.

His (RP's) arguments will never be effective because he just comes on this board to troll and fish. He seeks no answers just conflicts. The guy is a lost cause.

You gotta realize that Minnesotans ain't that bright. First a wrestler is the Gov., then a comedian a senator. :overhead:

Lets make sure we have something straight. Franken wasn't a great candidate, but Coleman was worse.

Exaggeration at it's finest. When you accuse Obama of doomsday scenarios to get things passed, I'll just remember that you do exactly the same thing.

I would substitute "demagoguery". Or maybe right-wing propaganda.

Rush really has these folks under his thumb.

I know a couple people in Minny that are happy about this, and for the life of me, I can't figure out why. Can anyone explain it to me, other than he's better than Coleman? TIA.
If all porn was removed from the internet, there would only be one website left, and it would be called "bring back the porn".

Dunno, didn't vote for the guy....I went Barkley instead....

I know a few folks who voted for Al, and the only reason they did was because they hated Norm. I honestly don't know of anyone who geniunely likes Franken...

I think he's funny. Not sure how well that translates into politics though. Much more liberal than I would want, but surely better than a cookie-cutter Republican like Coleman. Watching how the GOP throws a tantrum by fillibustering everything, it's best for America that the Dems reached 60.
The Bushtard's disturbed, irrational, bizarro Amerika was such a nightmare that anything Obama/Holder and Reid/Pelosi etc do feels like Candyland in comparison.

<_<

I watched the debates leading up to the election. Franken sounded rehearsed and uninformed. All he ever did was recite the company line and interject with buzzwords. If Coleman wasn't such a fock, I'd easily have voted for him....irrespective of party affiliation.

And the GOP couldn't find a single candidate among their roster of cheating husbands and pedarists to beat him.
