odiwh 0 Posted September 8, 2011 Im in a 10 team non ppr league and i just recently made the trade of ray rice for andre johnson and deangelo williams. Did i make a bad call or was it a smart move? I needed the WR depth here is my roster. QB- Matthew Stafford RB- Ray Rice RB- Jamaal Charles Flex- Tim Hightower WR- Larry Fitzgerald WR- Austin Collie D/ST- Lions K- Sebastian janakowski B- Ocho Cinco B- Jacoby Ford B- Mashawn Lynch B- Kendel Hunter B- Sam Bradford B- Deji Karim P.S. Im also currently making a move to give Jamaal Charles, Deji Karim and Ocho Cinco up for Adrian Peterson and Roy Helu. Overall did these trades make my team stronger? P Park Pimps 1 Posted September 8, 2011 I like the new team especially if you can pull of the second trade. I'd rather have AP over Charles plus your not giving up much to get him. Ocho's having a hard time learning the offense and even if MJD goes down, Karim will be irrelevant on the fantasy mess of a team that is the Jaguars. Thanks for answering mine, good luck!!! Fantasy Noob 10 Posted September 8, 2011 I dont know that I like it. Rice/Charles have potential to finish top 5RB where does Dwilly end up top 20? Depending on WR in traditional format in my opinion is a mistake as TD's at WR are hard to predict. Without the ppr 100 extra points an elite WR gets they probably can't outscore a top 10RB weekly so I think you made your team less explosive. I would prefer Rice/Charles to Peterson/Dwilly any day in any format. Fitz/Andre should give you an unbeatable WR corp though. Where before you needed one of Hightower/Lynch to shine at flex you now need 2 of Hightower/Lynch/Dwilly to shine at #2RB/Flex. Big gamble, be interested to see how it turns out.
