I am... he's not. I decided after reading a sh!ton a info on it... it's focking bullsh!t. Nothing other than cosmetic torture for the guy.
Apparently you lose 30-70% of the feeling? WTF... how are uncircumscised guys not cumbing walking around all the time?!
I figure if later on he wants to do it he has that option. I'm not going to focking force a piece of his junk getting cut off if there's no reason at all for it other than some social aspect.
He's NEVER had a problem with it... and I think there are more and more parents that are opting out of that focking mid-evil bullsh!t.

we decided to have it done to our son in the hospital for health and daily maintenance reasons, peer pressure avoidance if he ever has to share a shower with junior high boys in a locker room, and the doctor does it when he's about 12 hours old with this little ring. most of the time, the procedure doesn't even awaken him. btw, if you're not paying attention at the hospital, they may take him, do the procedure, and return him before you know what happened. so, if you choose not to circumcise, you should make it clearly noted because the doctor that does it won't be the doctor you've been dealing with. also as a weird aside, it would be best to get an opinion from your wife and other chicks regarding how they feel or felt during sexual situations with uncut men. most i talked with favored circumcision.

Mine are both circumcised. I want them to have lower chance of STD's and to not scare wimmens with a snuffaluffagus. Also, if I had more sensitivity, I would come in less than a second.

No. I wouldn't. More and more parents are not circumcizing so it's not a weird thing or anything they should be made fun of for. There really isn't a whole lotta value in it and it does have a negative impact on their eventual sexual enjoyment.
It's much better collecting stray kats and crapping your pants on occasion. Trust me.

mdc, see where this is going? it's important that you talk with 10 chicks about this. i'm with om on this one. and if you have it done in the hospital when he's born, he won't know how much sensitivity he will have lost when he's 20. and how do they measure that? they ask a toddler how it feels at 12 hours old, then again on day 7? of course for an adult male it's gonna change feeling...so would cutting off the lower part of your leg.What about the negative impact on spur of the moment BJ's?

I had an uncle that had to have a circumcision in his 30s due to problems with not being circumcised. Needless to say, he was focking pissed that his parents.

My son is not and I also did a ton of research on it. There is no medical reason to do it, so why do it except for possible teasing, etc. If we all were not to do it, it wouldn't seem that odd. I truly believe that hurts the kid more than we think. You go ahead and have them do it to you and see how you feel. F-that.

I voted "no" because my son wasn't, but I was totally on the line regarding the decision at the time. In his case the delivery was extremely long (33 hours) and the poor guy had gone through a lot, so I decided not to do it.
Basically, you can justify either decision, like most political discussions here. Go with your gut.

Pretty much the only good reason I can think of to do it is that chicks might think it was weird if he wasn't circumcised. But these days more and more parents are choosing not to circumcise their boys, so I think by the time the kid is a teenager a lot of guys will be uncut.

Anyway, I'm leaning toward circumcision but I have no real good reason for it except I don't know anything about hygiene for uncut wieners and I want my son to look like everybody else.

I figure all else being equal, I would do it. The social stigma is still there. No kid will ever be teased or experience a poor reaction from wimmens because he's cut, while the opposite is more likely
