I never mind a little :argue: when it comes to discussing fantasy football, so let's hear what you have to say:

Have to run and get the kids from school, so all I read was Meachem so far. Problem for me is - if he couldn't do better than he did in New Orleans, who is he going to possibly do better anywhere else? I don't think it was a competition problem. I think the Saints wanted him on the field more, but couldn't trust him to get it done.

Okay, I'll hang up and listen. (I mean check back in later.)

Too much radio for you

I think he'll be asked to do the same kind of thing in SD than he was in NO. I mean it is possible that he runs a few short and intermediate routes, but I just think he'll see more than the 60-66 targets he saw each of the last three years. If you carry out the Saints' comparison to the Chargers, we can assume Gates will play the same kind of role that Graham does. But where do Rivers' 440 after you give Gates 130-140?

I think Eddie Royal will get a lot of work in the short passing game (ala Lance Moore), but the Chargers don't have a target monster like Colston around and Norv loves going deep as much as any play-caller. Malcom Floyd can't stay healthy and Vincent Brown doesn't do the same things Meachem does. I don't think we see 70 catches from Meachem, but 55-60 receptions for 900-1000 yards and 7-8 scores seems reasonable. And quite frankly, his "inconsistency" isn't any different than Pierre Garcon's is IMO. Last but not least, I'll bet on Rivers - at least this year - bouncing back than I will on RG3 putting up a Cam Newton-like season.

I have to hand it to you, Doug. You are a glutten for punishment. Having to try to project Impact Rookies is a tough enough assignment. Following that up with trying to project Free Agents is just about mission impossible.

If Mike is giving you assignments like that back-to-back, it is obvious to me that he's trying to tell you he doesn't love you anymore. :nono:

Well, I'll still be a fan....wherever your next assignment takes you. Great job on this.

So much truth in this post, especially the part about being a "glutten for punishment". What does it say about me that I basically decide on this content schedule myself? :dunno:

Anyway, I appreciate your support. I also appreciate when the good people of this board challenge my thinking on occasion. Logic dictates I can't always be right, right?

Thought your analysis on Hillis was pretty much spot on. Last year was simply a train wreck in every since of the word. I understood that his success in Denver before injury was no fluke, and was touting him heavily prior to 2010. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), he was too expensive to draft last year.

All of that is behind now. He is the same beast, now motivated more than ever. Last year embarrassed him, and I believe he will be back to knocking heads in KC. I think that it is a good fit. As you pointed out, because he looks like a linebacker, people forget what a good receiver he is when utilized. Charles needs brought along slowly, and this is the perfect thunder/lightning combo. He is a mid-tier RB2 sharing the load with Charles.......with top 10 potential if Charles goes down.

I feel my football knowledge is vastly superior to my opponents. I also am just in general, a smarter person. These two things should allow me a huge advantage. But I've yet to be truly dominant.
