Would you actively try to discourage your kids from ever taking up smoking?

I dont have kids.....but of course I would.

Wouldnt the higher price of cigarettes also discourage teenagers from taking up smoking?

Why is this about teens? I don't care what other tax paying adults do with money they work for, and spend it on something thats legal. I don't care about a 16 year old trying to buy cigs.....not my problem.

Would you actively try to discourage your kids from the queer life because of the risks of contracting deadly diseases at a much higher rate than non queers?

You buy your smokes in bundles? :dunno:

In the U.K. smokes are often referred to as fags.

1. She did. She got tired of Greenpeace pushing her "back" into the ocean, so she came home.
2. The Beach!?! And let some freeloading hermit crab claim squatters rights on her hallway?
3. If she gets sand in that hallway, she will eventually produce the worlds largest pearl.

As a smoker from Chicago, I do plan on quiting at some point. And do NOT plan on driving to IND for smokes.

What if your neighbor goes to IND, would you buy from him?

What if you are driving through IND, would you pick up smokes for yourself and friends? How many cartons?

Probably not, I don't smoke enough to justify it. I smoke about a pack every 3 days.
When our kid is born in September, I'll look into quiting.

Of course I do. I work in the medical field also. One of the places I work at is an oncology facility.

Respiratory therapy? I've never seen so many smokers elsewhere in the medical field.

Do you want to quit? If so, what has influenced your decision? If not, why?

But you are right that smokers get the shaft, but they are voluntarily giving themselves a bigger one, so it is hard to feel sympathy. Alcohol and junk food get off relatively easy.
