53rd
2011-12 NY Jets and NFL predictions:
- NY Jets go 13-3 and win the AFC east (wrong)
- Sanchez and Tebow makes the AFC ProBowl roster (wrong)
- No rookie QBs will finish in the top 15 @ the QB position using FFToday scoring (way wrong)
- NE Patriots will not make playoffs (wrong)
edit: Oh well. Not too good. I'll try harder next year!

12th

Get a tier one QB and WR (or TE), then draft upside RB's (Jackson's, Martin, Hillis, McGahee, Helu, R. Bush, Ridley) and WR's (Miles/Dez, Green, Nelson, Lloyd, J. Jones, Floyd, T. Smith) in mid-later rounds.

Plus, it is always nice to have two consecutive picks, ain't it?

I feel my football knowledge is vastly superior to my opponents. I also am just in general, a smarter person. These two things should allow me a huge advantage. But I've yet to be truly dominant.

I'll say 2nd - McCoy or Foster - followed closely by 1st, 3rd and 4th.

Feels like I'm overpaying for QB or TE in the back half of the 1st and early 2nd, where there are still excellent QB who could fall to the late 2nd or early 3rd - depends on the league I guess - plus quality TE in the 5th or later. A real mixed bag of RB in the late 1st and early 2nd and WR seems fairly deep. So I think you're much better off with your 1st pick and then on almost equal footing in the 2nd, better off in the 3rd.

The answer is always the same. 1st. You get any player you want.

I will also chime in and say 11/12 so many options here without feeling like you HAVE to take some one. You could go #1 teir Qb and next best wr after calvin..You could potentially get some combo of c2k/dmc/ap..then on rounds 3/4 there are tons of value WRS left..out of the past 5-6 years I definatly feel you want to be in the back of the draft this year.

ok since people decided to answer such a bland question seriously i will say without a doubt the first 3-4 picks.

the back end is weak this year. ive done 1 real draft and the june mock picking 10th and 12th respectively and my tiers were drying up before each of my turns.

with a top 4 pick you get a more solid stud RB, you're in position at the 2/3 turn for the last of the big time QB's and the last of the better low end RB 1's. And i also have a WR tier that ends at the 4/5 turn.

so at least for me personally based on my early tiers, i would prefer to draft in the top third of the order.

I just traded from 1 to 6 in our dynasty zealots league. Should I politely ask for it back?

I'll say #3. Don't have to mull a decision over the top 3 RB's with your 1st pick. At the 2/3 turn, BPA becomes the name of the game. You can go QB/RB/WR or even one of the two Gronk/Graham fellas if they fall to ya. Lots of choices to build a team around a true workhorse running back you drafted with your 1st pick.

i concur. Id rather have an elite RB and on the comeback you can get a good wr like jennings and qb like stafford/newton. this is what i hope.

having an elite RB is huge this year. unless you can get a brees/brady/rodgers, qb is deep and so is wr. This wr class is deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

nah. you really just dont want to be back in the 9-12 hole, imo.

very diffrent answer if were talking Dynasty.. those 3 stud RBs everyone covets in redraft have a much diffrent shelf life then say a stud QB or WR in dynasty.. I agree with your idea to move out of the one spot but I think you could have got more!

Haha. Well i thought it was a fair deal. No one offered more, infact the offers were considerably less. I am happy with the move and think both teams got what they wanted.

I prefer my recliner if it's a laid back league, but if we're competitive, I want a straight chair at a table to keep me alert. Sometimes, I even walk around.

i normally like the bottom of the round, but it looks very dangerous this season. the talent seems jumbled and inconsistent, and late-position drafters are going to have to be very agile and responsive to the many different ways that this year's drafts can go. normally, the late guys are setting trends, because the early and mid positions are fairly predictable. this season, they're going to be following the trends set by guys drafting calvin, rodgers, and even gronk/graham.

personally, i like the looks of 1.04 or 1.05, but i haven't mocked it much yet. we'll see how things look once camp starts.
