I'm not a Patriots fan, in fact, the exact opposite.

But if you watch a highlight of the kick, it looks like right after he kicks he gets knocked down pretty hard.

I'm a pats fan - haven't replayed or rewatched but there was nothing there that looked like a penalty to me.
Pats played terrible - ARI played great - ARI deserves that win.

This is why I don't understand an offense kneeling to kick the go ahead field goal. Try for the touchdown and then SETTLE for a field goal. Belicheck deserves some blame for being overly conservative the play before.

Having said that...I'm glad the patriots lost.

The only thing that was roughed up was Gostkowski's feelings. That was an ugly game and the Pats should not have even been in a position to kick a GW FG.

As a kicker you're trained to take a dive if somebody looks at you the wrong way. If actually touched, crumble to the ground and act as if you've just been poleaxed. He didn't do either. And I didn't see any contact. He simply shanked the kick. Happens.

Looking at the slowmo at the end of the clip, it looks like Peterson lightly bumped him, and he pulled one hell of an acting job.
