I really like his upside as a Flex player, especially in PPR or .5 PPR leagues. Wouldn't really feel comfortable with him as a starting RB until you see what his role entails. But I think his big play ability along with Matt Nagy's successful history of using backs (and Tyreek Hill) as pass catchers in space is super intriguing. He's a great option in the middle rounds when all of the starting backs/those with defined roles are starting to dry up.

Unless it's a 6 point TD league or a 2QB league, there's no reason to select a QB that early. Even if you're right about him, you're drafting his ceiling. The margin of error on that pick is huge. If you love him, round 8 should get the job done. I managed to grab him in the 10th of a 12 team league. I also think it's a really good idea to pair him with a high floor QB in the 10-12th. That should give you a QB pairing with limitless upside and a good weekly floor without investing much draft capital. Examples: Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford, Alex Smith

I'm honestly considering him at #3 in .5 PPR. Assuming Gurley and Bell go 1 and 2, and Kamara is being kept. David Johnson's team could be one of the worst in the league this year and Zeke has never been a huge threat catching the ball out of the backfield, plus I would imagine teams are going to be loading up on the run and making Dak beat them. Am I overthinking?

Hey guys, Pick the two you think will have the best week in Standard...(I know my options are garbage) Happy to help you out with a link Jamaal Williams @PIT Ameer Abdullah vMIN Vernon Davis vNYG
-
Davis. He's a safer play imo with Olsen coming back from a long absence.
-
Crowder has seen a big uptick in targets lately and with Thompson out I would expect that to increase. I like Doctson has a higher upside play on Thursday night but I think Crowder is the safest of the bunch. I think he's pretty much a lock for 80 yards tonight.

Perine should get tons of work against a bad defense, Ajayi is in a rotation. Id go Perine. And Robby Anderson. Hes been way more productive than Davis and I cant trust any GB WR with Hundley under center.

12 Team, Standard Scoring I can keep either Martavis Bryant or Tyreek Hill for a 9th round pick. Who would you go with? Will help you with link. Thanks!

Need to pick 2 - Gordon, McCoy, or Howard?
TheShoe1010 replied to ptantam47's topic in A Little Help!
Gordon and McCoy. I think this is an instance where you play the two best players, considering the strength of matchup and usage potential is going to be similar across the board. Also, Barkley is not a good QB, which can hurt Howard any given week. Please take a look at mine if you can: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=461566&do=findComment&comment=5824204 -
Have to drop RB - who goes? D Booker/L Murray/D Henry or a super cuff?
TheShoe1010 replied to cpit's topic in A Little Help!
I would drop Kaepernick. The only way I'd consider starting him is if Cousins gets hurt (his schedule for the playoffs is money and he's playing lights out) and even if he does, there are always replacement level options on the wire. Makes sense to have options at TE if you don't have a top option, and RB depth is too valuable. -
Drop Jeffery for Watkins. Even when Jeffery comes back theres no way you start him over Cooper or Bryant. Watkins could be a top guy in the home stretch of the season.
-
I'd go with Cooper and Watkins. In terms of TEs, I'd rank them: 1. Ladarius Green 2. Hunter Henry 3. Lance Kendricks I wouldn't start Kendricks this week against NE but he has had two straight games of 7 targets with Goff at the helm. Might be a good fill in for the playoffs if that keeps up. Please look at mine if you can: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=461566&do=findComment&comment=5824204

Mariota seems to have turned the corner and has a much higher floor than Kaepernick. Keep Mariota.

Simple. Will help you out with a link.

I think it's worth adding Palmer primarily because I view him as a more reliable week to week option than Stafford. Personally, I'd value Parker higher than Tavon Austin but still would rather have Palmer over both in your situation.

12 team standard. Rest of team in the sig. WHIR Thanks!

Trade Advice- Get Gordon, Give Gronk
TheShoe1010 replied to WooFantasyFootball's topic in FFToday Board
The only way this deal makes the slightest bit of sense is if it's a keeper league and you have a great backup TE. Why would you trade an almost surefire top 5 TE for a guy who probably isn't even going to play this season? Especially when you don't even have a backup? And you already have three very good WRs? People are reading way too far into this potential reinstatement. -
Best quarterback in football? Nah, seems like an overreaction to a great game against a good team. Rodgers Brees Manning Brady Then you have Newton, Wilson, Luck, Rivers all in that next tier for me. If you're giving me a choice of these guys to QB my team for the next 10-12 years? Yea, I could see Wilson being there. Completely different question though. I think he could end up being a great fantasy QB too. Lynch's production will start to drop off in the next couple years, and the defense can't stay this good forever (how many guys do they have on rookie contracts?). It would exciting to see what he could do if Seattle had to put the ball in his hands and expect him to go out and win them football games. edit: I hate to use this comparison but think about Brees with the ability to give you rushing yards and TDs

Playing a guy because he plays Thursday night
TheShoe1010 replied to Dsausage's topic in FFToday Board
Foles will match Shorts' total production by the 2nd quarter against Detroit. -
Stacy and Brown. Look what Ray Rice did to Chicago's defense last week.

I don't think anyone expected Trent to be OJ Simpson this year but with the volatility at RB now, taking a guy that was: 1. A lock for 300+ carries 2. A good receiver out of the backfield 3. No competition for carries 4. Got all the goal line work 5. Is 23 years old in the back half of the first round seemed like a good idea. Yea, his YPC was a red flag but he had a LOT of factors working in his favor.

Trent Richardson has got to be the biggest bust that isn't related to injury. Injuries could happen to anyone. This guy flat out sucks.
