  2. This is a very involved and experienced league, and I'm looking for only the best managers. The requirements are as follows: You should be highly active in all aspects of the game; social in the league chat at least once per week, lineup always in, responding to trade offers promptly, participating in league polls etc. In addition to being very involved, full participation in all league activities is required, including following all rules and procedures. Managers are also expected to be respectful to the commissioner and league mates. If this isn't how you naturally go about your business, this league isn't for you unfortunately. These measures are in place to ensure a structured, positive, and competitive environment, and they're taken very seriously. Managers will preferably have knowledge of each years draft class before the NFL draft, or at least do enough homework to be prepared without leaning on a top 100 list. Studious and knowledgeable managers are ideal. You must know the difference between managing a dynasty vs redraft team. You also need to know when to rebuild, buy or stand pat, as well as understand the risks of acquiring old players etc. etc. Basic GM stuff. Now for the fun stuff! If you're interested in a league that's similar to a real GM experience, you'll likely love this league. Its a difficult league, but many of the managers have said its their favorite. Its 16 teams. Deep benches (20) to simulate a farm system. This also creates a thin waiver wire situation. There are a few useful adds from the wire each year, but you will not be able to fix your problems through free agent adds. You need to value your bench, picks, players of lesser value, and truly understand the asset management aspect of managing a team in order to consistently compete in this league. Scoring is somewhat basic, but there are some differences from the norm. When a QB throws a TD in the NFL, its worth 6 points, so we do the same in this league. This setting also gives QBs a slight value bump, which I believe is appropriate. Defensive scoring is also higher in this league to reflect the real life impact a NFL defense has to a teams success, so having knowledge of defensive units is helpful. Team defenses score about an average of 15 - 20 points per week. PPR. Rosters spots are: QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE/FLEX/FLEX/DST/BENCH x20. There is a 3 round rookie draft each spring. There's more to it, but everything is setup with creating a realistic experience/challenge in mind. This is a Fantrax league with a $100 buy-in. $800 prize for the winner of the main pot, and three annual side pots, two of $160: Last man standing (lowest scoring team each week is eliminated), most improved manager (by points not wins). And a third annual side pot (survivor pool) with a prize amount yet TBD. $5 of the buy-in goes into the Dynasty Pot which usually carries over year to year. This pot can be won in a variety of ways including, back to back championships or a perfect season (16-0). We also have a 5 year pot that works on a points system to reward the most consistent teams over a 5 year period. The most points at the end of the 5 year term wins $600 ($200 to 2nd). Lastly, there's an in season tournament with a pot of $240. The league also has a very detailed Google Sheets page with tabs for dues, performance history, league records, all side pots, power rankings, projections, manager ratings, career winnings and more. If you're interested or have any questions, feel free to ask. I will have a few questions to anyone interested and I'll choose who I feel is the best fit. Please contact me at brentso72@yahoo.com. Thanks for reading.

  5. As of now, we have 2 open teams in a 16 team dynasty empire-like league (.5ppr), $30 entry fee. It's a race to the Santa Monica Pier (division). Get to the pier and win a Fantasy Bowl and win the jackpot. Currently it's worth $222.07 and nobody is in the Santa Monica Pier division yet. To move up 1 division (there are 8 divisions total) Have a winning record Win the Fantasy Bowl Collect 4 Hubcaps (read footnotes to get a better understanding regarding this) Teams can move up more than 1 division after the season is done We also have a side game called, The Route 66 500 Race All new team owners will have a dispersal draft. Check out the teams that say 'open team' and that will give you an idea of what the dispersal draft will look like Link to league is below. Please read the footnotes to understand the twists. https://www55.myfantasyleague.com/2023/home/13649#0 If you are interested in joining and/or have any questions, email me at richhavlik@gmail.com Thanks Rich Your 66 Commish
  6. We have 2 openings we are looking to fill in one of our long term leagues. The leagues are 16 team IDP, contract dynasty leagues that have been around since 2012 and 2015. The leagues have been set up to mimic the NFL in many ways: Contracts - after acquiring a player you assign a contract between 1 and 4 years. This allows players to continue to rotate through the league and helps teams who are rebuilding. Franchise tag - you keep one zero year contract player per year who is given a 4 year contract. Transition tag - we have an auction for transition players and the original owner is allowed to match a bid and keep the player. Worst to First waivers - to help teams that aren’t as good to rebuild quicker Trades - The setup of the league and the contracts makes trading an important part of running your team. We normally have very little turnover with many years of all teams returning. We have a balanced scoring system where IDP’s scores are a very important part of the league. We have had a defensive player lead our league in scoring in the past. We have a far more accurate scoring system for QB’s and RB’s. The QB loses points for an incompletion and a RB loses points on a run for no gain. So, a QB who has a horrible game will not save his day because of garbage points. If his completion percentage was low and very little to show in TD’s or yards his score will not be good. The scoring is proven with usage since early 2000’s so we know it works. We start a QB, plus 5 offensive players (RB, WR and TE plus 2 flex) We start 2 DE, 1DT, 3LBers, 2CB, 2 Safeties and 1 flex plus a kicker and punter The Insane Asylum - 2 open teams The league site is: https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2023/home/30231#0 Open Team Kev https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2023/ ... =0016&O=07 Traded some next year picks Currently has 2.11, 3.03, 5.03, 5.12 Open Team 119 https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2023/ ... =0012&O=07 This team traded all his 2023 picks The Man Cave - No openings The league site is: https://www49.myfantasyleague.com/2022/home/48493#0 These teams aren’t bad but certainly not strong (or no draft picks) so we will collect $60 which will pay for the entire 2023 season and $30 will go towards the 2024 league year which will allow trading of 2024 picks. Normal fee is $60 per year. Thank you for your interest.

    Dynasty League Trade

Dynasty League in its 12th year. PPR. Relatively standard scoring. I'm strong at QB and WR. But I could use some help at RB. QB: Murray, Burrows, drafted Kenny Pickett RBs: Chubb, AJ Dillon, drafted Kenny Walker, Gainwell, J. Wilson Jr. WRs: Tyreek Hill, Justin Jefferson, Marquise Brown, Amari Cooper, DeAndre Hopkins (SUSP) The offer on the table is I give Kyler Murray and Justin Jefferson and receive Najee Harris and Cordarelle Patterson. And Allgeier is still on waivers. I have no problem losing Murray for obvious reasons but hate to lose Jefferson. Still, I'm seriously considering this. Thoughts?
  9. FILLED We have 4 openings that we are looking to fill in a long term league that started in 2012. Long term league with same commish since the start of the league. We will have a draft start as soon as possible after the 4 teams are filled and you have a chance to look over the rules. We will have 50 rounds with 5 rookies going onto the taxi squad. Those 5 players will get 5 year contracts. You will get 113 years worth of contracts to give to the remaining 45 players - you have to give each player a contract between 1 and 4 years. 10. We had an unfortunate situation in our leagues and have openings in both leagues. We have to replace a father son combinations in both leagues and another owner. A brief history of our leagues - The Insane Asylum started in 2012 and the guys in the league really enjoyed the league so by request we started The Man Cave for the 2015 season. We still have most owners having teams in both leagues. The scoring and setup of the leagues goes back to the early 2000’s. We have very little turnover on an annual basis. Experienced Commish who has run both leagues since they formed. The league fee is $60 per year. We are through the draft and auction process and some of the teams have traded all of next year's picks so we are allowing the new owner to pay $60 to cover the cost of the 2023 season and play the 2022 season for free. We start a QB, plus 5 offensive players (RB, WR and TE plus 2 flex) We start 2 DE, 1DT, 3LBers, 2CB, 2 Safeties and 1 flex plus a kicker and punter The leagues have several rules that allow you to have very good control over your roster: Contracts – after an annual auction for players whose contract expired you give out contracts that vary from 1 to 4 years for players won in the auction (2.5 years times the number of free agents won). Years ago, I played in a salary cap league where a bad owner can blow up an entire league (I took over an abandoned team that the rules made it impossible to rebuild). I have found that having contracts like this is a far better way to keep players rotating and not having one owner be able to destroy the league with bad salary decisions. Rookie draft - The rookies get a 5 year contracts plus we have a taxi squad to keep rookies until they blossom into productive players. Franchise and Transition tags - we give each owner the right to use 2 tags annually: a franchise tag (allows you to keep the player and he automatically gets a 4 year contract) and a transition tag (allows you to match the top offer for that player). We use worst to first weekly waivers which allows teams to rebuild quicker. The Man Cave - now filled The Insane Asylum - 3 open teams The league site is: https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2022/home/30231#0 Open 12th https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2022/options?L=30231&F=0003&O=07 Open Bed https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2022/options?L=30231&F=0008&O=07 Open Loon https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2022/options?L=30231&F=0012&O=07 If interested or have a question please contact me by a message on this site. 11. 3rd year for this league. $50 buyin. Pay for next year and play this year free. I have commished for over 20 years and have solid references and track record. This league is full of features and requires dedication and time to field a competitive team. Most owners in this league are long-standing and competitive and want to win. I am looking for the same type of owner to fill one opening. Devy, IDP, PPR, Salary/Contract, Relegation, RFA, Transition, Franchise, Injury settlement, Extensions, Renegotiation, Holdouts, Taxi, rookie/devy draft etc. Here are links for the home page and bylaws. The open team is the Spartans. You can reply/message here or email me at ff.commish706@gmail.com If interested, I'm sure you will not be disappointed. You need to review bylaws before reply. 12. LEAGUE FULL Hello All, 2 Gone only ONE TEAM LEFT A brief history of our leagues - The Insane Asylum started in 2012 and the guys in the league really enjoyed the league so by request we started The Man Cave for the 2015 season. We still have most owners having a team in both leagues. The scoring and setup of the leagues goes back to the early 2000’s. We have very little turnover and this is the first time since the 2020 we have had to post openings. Two of the openings are the same owner who has serious medical conditions and will not be able to return and the other is an owner from both leagues but had to drop one league due to limited time. Experienced Commish who has run both leagues since they formed. The league fee is $60 per year and there is an option to pay $30 for the next year to trade that year’s picks. We have a balanced scoring system where IDP’s scores are a very important part of the league. We have had a defensive player lead our league in scoring in the past. We have a far more accurate scoring system for QB’s and RB’s. The QB loses points for an incompletion and a RB loses points on a run for no gain. We use worst to first weekly waivers which allows teams to rebuild quicker. When looking at teams keep in mind that players who show as 1 will be zero when the league rolls so you will be cutting a majority of those players keeping one with your franchise and possibly one with transition tags. If looking at other rosters the same will apply and the majority of guys showing 1 year will be available in the auction (some teams already cut players). The Man Cave - One opening The league site is: https://www64.myfantasyleague.com/2021/home/48493#0 Open team was Chris Hogans - traded some pick so has 2.10, 4.02 and 5.02 The $60 payment goes to pay the $30 balance for 2022 league fees and $30 to pay for ½ of 2023 league fees (can trade 2023 picks) https://www64.myfantasyleague.com/2021/options?L=48493&F=0007&O=07 If interested or you have a question please reach out through this site. 18. We have 2 openings between 2 - 16 team leagues. A brief history of our leagues - The Insane Asylum started in 2012 and the guys in the league really enjoyed the league so by request we started The Man Cave for the 2015 season. We still have most owners having a team in both leagues. The scoring and setup of the leagues goes back to the early 2000’s. So, a QB who has a horrible game will not save his day because of garbage points. If his completion percentage was low and very little to show in TD’s or yards his score will not be good. We start a QB, plus 5 offensive players (RB, WR and TE plus 2 flex) We start 2 DE, 1DT, 3LBers, 2CB, 2Safety and 1 flex plus a kicker and punter The leagues have several rules that allow you to have very good control over your roster: Contracts – after an annual auction for players whose contract expired you give out contracts that vary from 1 to 4 years for players won in the auction (2.5 years times the number of free agent won). Franchise and Transition tags - we give each owner the right to use 2 tags annually a franchise tag (allows you to keep the player and he automatically gets a 4 year contract) and a transition tag (allows you to match the top offer for that player). We use worst to first weekly waivers which allows teams to rebuild quicker. When looking at teams keep in mind that players who show as 1 will be zero when the league rolls so you will be cutting a majority of those players keeping one with your franchise and possibly one with transition tags. If looking at other rosters the same will apply and the majority of guys showing 1 year will be available in the auction (some team already cut players). The Man Cave The league site is: http://www64.myfantasyleague.com/2019/home/48493#0 The Open teams links are here Open team – has their pick in each of the 5 rounds – the 8th pick in each round. The $60 payment goes to pay the 2020 league fees. http://www64.myfantasyleague.com/2019/o ... =0014&O=07 The Insane Asylum The league site is: http://www68.myfantasyleague.com/2019/home/30231#0 The open team link is here – has all picks for next year plus an extra 5th – Pick 1.02 and 2nd pick in each round. The $60 payment goes to pay the $30 balance for 2020 league fees and $30 to pay for ½ of 2021 league fees (can trade 2021 picks) http://www68.myfantasyleague.com/2019/o ... =0001&O=07 If interested or have a question please contact commissioner through the league homepage: Communication -> email to commissioner Or contact me by a message on this site. Thanks for your interest.

  21. In a dynasty auction league where you can keep all your players if they fit under a $100 salary cap before the year, would you make this trade: David Johnson ($11) for Davante Adams ($9) Start 2 RB and 3 WR Current RBs: David Johnson ($11), Aaron Jones ($6), Josh Jacobs ($18), James Conner ($4) Current WRs: OBJ ($15), JuJu Smith Shuster ($10), Allen Robinson ($9), Sterling Sheperd ($5) I have the depth at RB to trade Johnson and Adams is probably an upgrade over all my receivers, when healthy. Money wise, it would make more sense to trade Jacobs ($18) but he might be the better player as DJ can't stay healthy. Thoughts around DJ for Adams, or Jacobs for Adams? Or hold steady? This is like year 9 of the dynasty league so i have gotten these players pretty cheap before they turned out to be "studs". Most aren't playing like them this year or can't stay healthy.

    Trading for Julio

In a dynasty league ($100 budget), who would you rather trade for Julio Jones ($30): Aaron Jones ($6) Josh Jacobs ($18) We start 2 RB and 3 WR. My rbs are David Johnson, James Conner, Aaron Jones, Josh Jacobs and WRs are Juju, Beckham, Josh Gordon and Sterling Shepard. The julio owner is willing to give him up for a cheaper, younger RB/WR that he will be able to keep next year. I'm in position to make a run at the title this year so who would you rather trade?
  23. I run several free 4 sport dynasty leagues. We had a guy who was in 3 of them quit during the draft because he was mad that he was skipped for going over the time limit for his pick. The leagues each use the same settings. What makes the leagues different from other leagues is that each owner picks a city to be their Hometown franchise for each of the 4 sports and then have to have a certain amount of players from that city on their roster or they face penalties like losing draft picks, FAAB, or forfeiting games. If you want more information about the leagues in general or the specific teams let me know and I can send you the rosters or the league bylaws. Either message me on here or email me at psycho912001@yahoo.com If it helps I'm willing to join your league in a kind of reciprocity thing to make it easier for both of us to find replacement managers.

    Make the trade??

Have a trade on the table. I'm in a Dynasty League that is PPR. We keep entire team each year. We start 1 QB, 1 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB, WR, or TE), K, and DEF. Current Team: QB - M.Ryan, C. Newton, S. Darnold RB - A. Kamara, J. Connor, D. Cook, J. Samuels, J. Ajayi WR - K. Golladay, C. Kupp, C. Ridley, D. Westbrook, M. Gallup, D. Hamilton, M. Goodwin, Z. Jones TE - T. Kelce, G. Kittle K - W. Lutz D - Minny I give: Ryan, Cook, and Kittle I get: Kirk Cousins, Aaron Jones, Antonio Brown I downgrade at QB, slight downgrade in RB but I'm trading my #3 RB and I get much needed WR help. I do lose a top tier TE but I still have Kelce. Would you make this trade?? Thanks in advance!
