    Fantasy Flashback

Every now and again a players name from the past will creep into my head and it reminds me of 2 things. #1 - There are many awesome fantasy seasons that are put up by guys that are not household names anymore (some never were) and maybe only had 2-3 great years. These players helped guys win their fantasy leagues either before the internet was a thing, or while it was still in it's infancy. #2 - I have been playing Fantasy Football for a long damn time. Today's Fantasy Flashback Player is Shaun Alexander. From 2001 through 2005 there weren't very many fantasy players that produced on the level that he did. 2001 - 1,318 yards rushing with 14 rushing TD's & 343 yards receiving with 2 receiving TD's 2002 - 1,175 yards rushing with 16 rushing TD's & 460 yards receiving with 2 receiving TD's 2003 - 1,435 yards rushing with 14 rushing TD's & 295 yards receiving with 2 receiving TD's 2004 - 1,696 yards rushing with 16 rushing TD's & 343 yards receiving with 4 receiving TD's 2005 - 1,880 yards rushing with 27 rushing TD's & 78 yards receiving with 1 receiving TD Not a bad run. For a while there, he was the man. ICEMAN
