'07 Player Projections By NFL Team

Recommended Posts

To prepare FFTodayers for the upcoming ’07 season, starting 5/14 will post threads listing offensive players by NFL team and invite posters to attach projections to each offensive player. Posting of just commentary on one or mutliple players, instead of projections is welcomed and encouraged as well.

Will post 3 team threads per week (2 during 4th of July week) alphabetically by team city, so will have all 32 NFL teams posted before August 1st. Through beginning of FF season will hopefully have this thread pinned as an ‘Archives’ thread, so will have opportunity to post replies for any previous team at any time.

Notes:

QB JCampbell: Will be 2nd year, 1st as opening day starter.

WR BLloyd: Will be 5th year

Key Questions For '07 Season:

How will JCampbell produce as starter?

Will he be QB long term for season?

What will be carry (overall/rz/gl) distribution between CPortis and LBetts?

Will BLloyd ‘step up’ in his 5th season?

How will CCooley produce?

How will JCampbell produce as starter?

---> 8 months in the same offense is a good start; and he play'd well last season in limited time

Will he be QB long term for season?

---> We'll find out this year

What will be carry (overall/rz/gl) distribution between CPortis and LBetts?

--->350 carries for Portis; 150 for Betts

Will BLloyd ‘step up’ in his 5th season?

---> I ahve ZERO idea

How will CCooley produce?

Cooley is in a contract year, plus another year with Campbell... This will be his career year, and may push 8-10 TDS

The word "Optimistic" is being used alot in DC and for the Redskins this year.. and I predict 9-7

The #2 WR is a big concern... can Lloyd and El atleast be sem i productive to help Moss and Cooley.

I also see Moss at 1100 & 8 TDs which is a semi bounce back from last year... Campbell has the ability to throw the long ball... so once the running game gets going, I see Saunders giving the green light for the deep pass

Key Questions For '07 Season:

How will JCampbell produce as starter? I think he will fair well. Will have his good and bad neing young and what not . I don't think he is a viable fantasy option this year other than a bye week start.

Will he be QB long term for season?Like other poster said this year will tell.

What will be carry (overall/rz/gl) distribution between CPortis and LBetts?I think Portis will carry the load early <70% plus on carries>. Betts gettting the third down work and possible short yardage. I honestly believe Portis does not hold up all season ankle/foot/shoulder injuries/problems. I like Betts in the later rounds for debth possible starter potiental than gamble on Portis early. Betts is a must handcuff if you draft Portis.

Will BLloyd ‘step up’ in his 5th season? He is over paid over hyped or was and has no business being on a fantasy roster much less a nfl's team roster

How will CCooley produce?

I think so I think he will be a little inconsistant with the offense in Washington but what TE is consistant. He definitaly a top TE in my opinon.

Campbell 2500 9 13

Portis 1100 10 210 0

Betts 800 8 150 1

Moss 1050 6

Cooley 700 8

rest is not fantasy startable

3rd in the division, 7-9 record :pointstosky:
