Zackattack 0 Posted April 15, 2008 I think they have too much invested in Benson to just let him go. But who knows? I have had the guy on my team his first two years. He flashed signs then he seems to have gotten worse. With the knee injury I wouldn't expect much. I would hope for the Bears sake they look to replace him.

Barnaby Wilde 0 Posted April 15, 2008 I took Gilberry here for Indy in the 3rd. The could use some help at DE, and he has a great motor and makes up for his lack of size and speed by studying the game and watching a lot of game film. Could fit in nicely with the Colts. Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted April 15, 2008 Pats take another LB. There were a few people that were considered, but it ultimately came down to a need at ILB and Goff represents a smart player with good athleticism (strong and fast). What put him over the edge is that he is a local kid.

ArnieBragg 1 Posted April 15, 2008 Chevis Jackson played in every game during his four years at LSU. Jackson finished ninth on the team in tackles. His five INTs was top among all cornerbacks. Safety Craig Steltz led the team with six INTs. His five INTs ranked seventh in the SEC and tied for 27th in the country. According to his Scouts Inc. profile, Jackson "is one of the more naturally gifted senior cornerback prospects in the 2008 class and his experience in the return game (punts) should only add to his value." RLLD 3,455 Posted April 16, 2008 The Ravens take OT Duane Brown from VaTech after going QB(Matt Ryan) and Def(Tracy Porter) as they also look to bolster their O-Line. Next year they will likely look for the successor to Odgen, and while this guy may not be THAT guy, he will at the very least add depth. They might even find a multi-year facet to their line. Barnaby Wilde 0 Posted April 16, 2008 I think the Dolphis have potentially added five starters to thier team. Chris Long gives them another pass rusher they have missed opposite Jason Taylor. Brohm was my 2nd rated QB on the board, as was TE Bennett. Caldwell is a playmaker the offense needs due to the lack of on this team, and Wheeler can step right in at the MLB position. Joey Gladstone 33 Posted April 16, 2008 Dexter Jackson is a player I love. Despite being a little on the small side, the kid can flat out fly. He's very similar to Desean Jackson, a player the Rams have been looking at. Could make a great return man and provide could provide some big plays in the slot. I don't like the picks but the biggest need is on the o-line. I think you have to grab a OT in the top of the second. I don't think we can afford to grab a QB/TE/WR with those picks. Keyshawn will play here like I believe I mentioned before. We have Wilford too. I think you gotta go DE/OT/MLB/OG/TE with the first 5 picks. I can see a QB in round 4 or later. The more I look at it in a draft heavy in OT's this has got to be the priority. Dolphins could get J.Long and say Mayo with the first 2 picks.

kutulu 1,545 Posted April 17, 2008 Should we think about getting someone else to pick for NYJ? I've helped steer this thing the last few years and it seems to really run out of steam at just around this point. Just sayin'

I have to commend the team on getting 3 rounds in since I am surprised that it happened this well. I have a hard time thinking that we can get a 4th round in that has much value. Joey Gladstone 33 Posted April 18, 2008 I just wanted one more round to take Dexter Jackson in, as I think he'll make some big plays in the NFL. I've done my homework this year, I think I could hang for 7 rounds if this thing still had anything left in the tank.
