I finally got the fockin' Monkey off my back and won 2 Championships today. :music_guitarred:

Until today, I was The Buffalo Bills circa the 80's, always in the Top 4 and making money but never closing the deal. An 8 year dry spell no longer!

Today, the deal was closed with the likes of:

QB: Matt Schaub

WR: Randy Moss

WR: Greg Jennings

RB: Jamaal Charles

RB: Ray Rice

TE: Jermichael Finley

Flex: Maurice Morris

K: Hartley

DEF: Thanks for fockin' nuthin NYGiants

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Who else joins me in the rarified air in the Circle of Victory today?!!

Congrats to my fellow Champs as the Victory Vodka starts to flow!!!

I was waiting for someone to start this thread; I didn't want to be the only one gloating. Today I became the first two-time champion in our league, and the bragging rights associated with that are almost as good as the cash. I guess its not "official" yet, but I'm up by 28 and my opponent is done. So, yeah .... :music_guitarred:

I started the season 4-5, and then won 7 consecutive games including the league championship. I'll give shout-outs to my regular starters:

QB: M. Ryan, J. Flacco, B. Favre, A. Smith (all started at some point)

RB1: A. Peterson

RB2: R. Rice

WR1: A. Johnson (acquired via trade for F. Gore & J. Snelling)

WR2: D. Jackson

WR3: G. Jennings, S. Smith, R. Meachem (all started at some point)

TE: V. Davis

K and DEF were weekly rotations, with only J. Carney & Green Bay making more than 6 starts.

Thanks for nothing to: T.J. Houshmandzadeh , G. Olsen, and R. Williams. I was happy to drop each of you.

Also:

* Thanks to the Meachem scoring controversy -- I went to sleep a loser, and awoke to a clinched playoff spot.

* Thanks to my opponent last week for falling for the A. Foster trap.

* Thanks to my opponent this week for playing P. Manning & D. Clark despite all the warnings.

I hear that! I didn't win yet. He still has Barber and Austin but it's looking great for me. Him playing Peyton and Dallas Clark sure helped.

Today I broke through.

Ben

Rice and J Stewart!!!!

Andre the Beast

D Bowe was huge today with 9 catches PPR

Nobody at flex! (Kevin smith, mccoy, mike wallace, ... rotated them all year).

No Te until Faboulous Freddy Davis showed up

Patrick Willis leading my IDP squad.

The money will help with xmas bills and the years supply of golf balls!

I bet tons of championship teams have Ray Rice.

The title I really want to win I'm up by 10 with Bennett left to play, while he has Percy Harvin remaining. This is probably the hardest league I've played in, and have never won it. My starting lineup in it(3 player keeper)

QB McNabb,

RB MJD

RB Rice

RB Williams

WR Bennett

WR Colston

WR Marshall

TE Carlson

K Tynes

Def Falcons

Crushed my opponent in my fun stoner league to win my second title in 8yrs with this team:

QB Kurt Warner

WR Roddy White

RB Ray Rice

TE John Carlson

W/T Miles Austin

W/R Chris Johnson

K Lawrence Tynes

DEF Cleveland

DB Leon Hall

DL Will Smith

I've had my best year so far, mainly because I didn't have any injuries to speak of. Out of 5 leagues I made the semi's in 4, and 2 title games. Even in the 5th league I

scored the most points, unfortunately I had the most against as well and missed the playoffs.

The lineup in my signature did not win the Championship, but this lineup did:

QB: Brees

RB1: Charles

RB2: Harrison

WR1: D-JAX

WR2: V-JAX

Flex: Beanie

TE: Finley

K: Graham

D: Texans

Great job fellow Champions!!!

Savor the taste of this Victory...NOTHING IS BETTER THAN WINNING.

Take this focus and time spent on FF.. and speaking for myself, it's time to now redirect it to all other more important aspects of my life. Family! Career! Health!

Time to reprioritize after 16 consecutive weeks of Sunday Hibernations!

Let this FF Victory drive us to success in all aspects of life!!!

Regular season record 8-5 (5-1 down the stretch). 3rd playoff seed.

Championsip Winning Team

QB Rivers

WR R. Moss

WR Fitzgerald

WR Holmes

RB Mendenhall

RB Barber

TE Celek

K Akers

Def San Fran

And I beat a team that had Brees, Colston, Ochocinco, Smith (NYG), Chris Johnson, and Benson for the title! 10 TDs, at least 1 per starter! Up 161-114 with only my opponent's kicker left on MNF so let the celebration commence!

 times 2!! I won one of them by 97 point, my biggest margin of victory in ANY game over my entire fantasy "career" of 25+ leagues. In the 4th quarter, I needed Austin to catch one or 2 more passes, because I was hoping to beat him by 100.

In the other league I won by 9 even though I napped through the start of the 2nd games, and left S Jax in my line-up. Good lesson learned that didn't cost me anything.

BTW, I came in 1st in regular season play and finished 1st overall in points in both of these leagues. I've also never had TWO :first: in one season.

Congrats to all the league champions, and better success next year to those who lost. I'd imagine quite a few of those teams had two or more Colts in their line-up.

Congrats Gents. Cowboys just brought me home a trophy. The Browns D treated me good a couple of weeks ago , and now Dallas pitches a focking shut out. However this is really one of my worse teams. In an auction league my 3 main players MJD,Portis,Jacobs. I ruled the ole WW.

Why would you play in a league that asks $425 and only pays $2K to winner?

If you have ten or more in that league those odds suck.

Close to a 4.75 - 1 payout against that many players is crap.
