Brut Gnome

The Gnome Knows All

Recommended Posts

Orange Julius dude-lady, who is this phillybear of which you speak? Is he the one causing the animosity? Perhaps he needs a good sleeper pick. Please, feel free to take one of mine and pass as your own. If you look, I've been here since 2011. Was this bear dude here then? Hmm? I carefully chose my posts wisely so as not to waste them. Perhaps your innards are well done much like my picks.

Huzzah!

Pussie, I forgot more about fantasy football than you'll ever know. I wouldn't take advice from you if you threw in a hundred bucks with it. Again, your attempts at humor are as awful as your fantasy knowledge.

LOL u are thinking of FFT legend, Axe Elf, for those that werent here, Elf was the moronic and polarizing prognosticator. After his weekly antics began to look silly, Brut Gnome appeared as a counter (the name is a play on words, Axe like axe body spray=Brut, elf=gnome). Elf dissapeared and the Gnome remains. Sighhh those were fun times on the board.

Yep, guess some on here can't appreciate the subtle humor. Elf was a one of a kind.

Isn't that always the way it goes. The good ones go away and the dooshbags stay.

Dear Ivan Drago's wife:

You shan't worry about having to take from the frosted tips fund to pay me. I provide this information out of the kindness of my heart. Please sir/ma'am, accept this last sleeper as a token of peace from the great gnome. Start with confidence in a ppr. Donnie Avery. Perhaps your knowledge is as useless as a tool from the Bronze Age, or perhaps you are simply a bronze tool. I shall leave it to my people to decide.

He's an alias of phillybear or one of the Geek Club regulars. I can tell by his unfunny attempts at humor. He has 67 posts ever. This place is overrun with lame and unfunny aliases. This is just another one.

Are you sure he's not the return of the Axe Elf we ran off years ago after that utterly ghey picture from the online dating site he was registered at became the avatar for so many of our fine bored residents?

Edit: crap...tantastic covered the Elf saga, so I'm too late... but it brings up a question...can Brute Gnome actually be Axe Elf's nemesis if they are the same person, or at least the same female part as NewbieJr has so eloquently pointed out?

Nah, Axe was more of a in your face, my way or the high way FF savant. Brut is a soft gentler homage.

Perhaps the baked one is upset Red Sonja was not met with glowing reviews. Sometimes you just have to let it go....

Hence my post 20.

And yes...while it may not be the same guy...its someone trying to play off of it...and its painfully unfunny.

Since I actually like the advice you've given so far Gnomie... PPR, pick one flex: Vereen, Daryl Richardson, Kenny Britt.

Made me laugh.

Why even bother being pissed at this? Don't read it if you don't think it's funny. Simple.

Not pissed at all...I think its quite unfunny...but nothing to be pissed at.

I like Michael, but he doesn't see the field without a Lynch injury. Sudfeld is interesting because he'll take Hernandez's role in that hybrid TE slot, basically making him like a WR. It comes down to this: if you like to play the lottery, keep Michael. If you need consistency, I'd grab Sudfeld.

(If Bryce Brown is available, look for him. Kelly's offense will utilize 2 RB's. Just FYI.)

As a Mccoy owner I hope you are a little off but I believe you are prob correct.

Bryce got talent for sure, but chip likes Polk too.

I got brown handcuff stolen from me. I want to trade Deandre Hopkins for him. Pretty good WR depth. Should I try it?

Same here, some idiot took Brown in rnd 7 thinking he was getting over on me as a Mcoy owner. I just said "Um, ok well enjoy."

Going to quickly eliminate britt, and put it at Vereen and Daryl. Pats have avg around 40 pts their last 6 meetings with the bills. I think Vereen finds the end zone once and in a ppr, you'll grab a few extra pts through receptions. Daryl had 9, yes 9 carries in the preseason. Do you trust him? Give me the known commodity on the better team all day.

I truly believe brown has a nice role in this offense without an injury to McCoy, but the talent is undeniable. YouTube Bryce brown highlights from last year and holy cow he makes guys look like they are standing still. The thing about deandre is we don't know. If wr depth is good, I'd take comfort knowing I have a rb that doesn't cause me to lose a step should my starter go down. A wr of deandres caliber will likely be found on the ww at various points throughout the year.

More sleepers you say? Well here you are my children. Don't ask, just accept.

Joe Flacco

Brett Celek

Emmanuel Sanders

Mohamed Sanu

You may return and judge. You're welcome.

That would be "Brent" Celek. And I agree, he is a nice sleeper, not just this week but all year.

Flacco should be ok.

Sanders, Sanu, Definitely sleeeeeepers. Glad I don't have start either one.

You are correct. Didn't catch the autocorrect. For some reason Brent is unacceptable.
