Â One thing that distracted me was that the diversity police struck again. One of the Robinson kids is now a black girl. Was trying to pick up clues as to whether she was from a previous marriage for one of the parents or what. Â Oh, and they decided to make Dr. Smith a woman. What happens is they got popular and went from dozens of hopeful writers and producers pitching shows to them weekly to what I now imagine is an endless line of them. Every writer and their mother wants their show on Netflix. Before their only option was to schlep their way through the tired old fox/abc etc networks.
