I get that these guys/bands want to stay relevant or young but once they hit the fair circuit it's over.No way would I pay money to see any band playing at a fair that used to headline arena shows.

It's only Vince too. Motley retired a couple years ago as a band

Whatever man. Morrison was head and shoulders above anyone at that time. Jagger too is an all time great. Freddie has the range no doubt. I'm not disputing talent. His point was best front man. Not best singer. I think the others were better.

sorry dude, I want a front man who brings more then burying his head into a mic with his head down the whole time

Freddy was the best, best vocals, most entertaining, Queens songs were anthems, you can't sing a Queen song without smiling and getting into it

Another trailer loaded with new scenes

I'm done watching trailers on this. I don't need convincing

I haven't looked forward to a movie more than this since LOTR - FOTR

Where do I know that guy from. Playing Freddie. I looked at IMDB and cannot place it. I know I've seen him before.

I'm looking forward to this movie but I fear it's going to focus mainly on Freddie and I think the other members of the band were pretty interesting and important as well. Brian May is a focking astrophysicist for example. In any event, looks like it should be good.

I must be the only geek that isn't interested in this in the slightest.

Great band, but I am just not interested in the story.

While that would not be ideal that is not the reason.

I am not really interested in the history of any band for that matter. This movie is getting more hype than any other movie about a band that I remember.

GOAT Rock Band lead singer is one reason. :dunno:

Seconded.

I like 3-4 Queen songs, but absolutely despise We Are the Champions.

The over the top love and adoration for Freddy has as much to do with his dying young from Gay AIDS as his musical genius.

it's unpossible to like 3 or 4 if you like them at all.

Under Pressure
Fat Bottomed Girls
Killer Queen
Tie Your Mother Down
Crazy LittlE thing Called Love
you're my best friend
Another one bites the dust
I want it all
somebody to love
dont stop me now
play the game

That's off the top of my head

Song was released in 1977, I will assume music wasn't really played in stadiums at that time.

5 worlds series wins since 1996

you can do better

You would assume wrong. Besides, it's a goof. They won some of the 7 on the road.

It was all Sinatra when I was there in 01.

That's the first one played. Then Kool and the Gang (celebration) then We Are The Champions, then NY NY again, instrumental, until everyone leaves. And they didn't win it all in 01, so you only got the one song.

Like HT and other yankees bandwagoners, they didnt start being fans till 1998 Yankees didn't exist in the 80s and early 90s

I'm thinking the Dodgers weren't in a very festive mood, losing in their own stadium.

I was at Fenway the game Tartabull took Clemens deep to center at Fenway. And at the Stadium when the Margo Williams penthouse spread came out and everyone in the bkeachers were holding it up at Boggs. Good times.
